“I never stopped here but looks like a beautiful place very peaceful and tranquil some beautiful views”
“Ideal for pre flight accommodation. Room was fine although furniture was dated. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was way above expectations with a fantastic Sri Lankan curry. 10 minute walk to mag level train to access BHX”
“Can never fault anything they cook always tastes amazing and I really do eat as much as I can! Lots of variety of food & reasonable price. Really nice staff very welcoming. Tables/toilets are always clean.. I've been coming here for years since they opened I believe in 2010.”
“Fantastic stay for one night, really comfy bed, really helpful and polite staff. Lovely breakfast and have the ability to come back to the room late at night. Would recommend.”
“We stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)”
“A great holiday here the air is so fresh”
“We had a great stay at Days Inn Warwick North M40. The receptionist, Archana, was extremely friendly and helpful, which made the check-in experience very pleasant. The hotel was very tidy and clean throughout. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.”
“The food is always good quality and plentiful. A set meal for two will feed three or four adults. We've been using China Chef for many years and will continue to do so.”
“The whole building was clean and fresh. The towels were lluxurious.. A desk fan was provided for my comfort during the heatwave. There was a gatage nearby with a convenience store and a food preparation francise. I had a good night's sleep, with my bedroom window open and minimal traffic noise.”
“Good value for money No frills. Does what it says on the tin. I slept well. One night stay over close to Stoney Cove scuba diving”
“It's a nice country hotel with a restaurant and bar area. I spent 3 days here which I enjoyed. My room was nice and clean apart from the odd squeaky floorboard. I did go there on a pretty hot week and the room was hot as I had no AC in my room. The breakfast and dinner food were nice and the staff on-site were friendly and helpful too. There's a car park at the rear of the hotel and you need to register your car at reception on a tablet/ipad.”
“We stayed here the night before Reggaeland as it’s only 20 mins on the train to Milton Keynes. The room was massive, clean and fresh sheets. Staff are really sweet and work so hard. It was £55 for the room plus breakfast for myself and my 2 girls. The breakfast is well worth the money and has great choices including gluten and dairy free. It’s replenished often and fresh, lovely full English and a variety of drinks, fruits and continental. The location is perfect facing the railway station and about a 15 min walk to the local shopping centre.”
“Stayed here a few weeks back as I was attending a wedding at a venue across the road. The apartment was lovely, bright, airy and modern. The couple who run the B&B are fantastic, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money, there will be no hesitation in me staying again in the future.”
“Couldn't fault it for the price we paid. Newly refurbished room. Old building with a list of famous restaurants ie. Norman Wisdom and Douglas Fairbanks. Grand Central staircase with large stain glass window.”
“Great place for an impromptu night stop when getting tired driving. Very reasonable price. Clean, tidy ,comfortable; so good value for money.”
“Stunning. The staff is absolutely incredible, friendly and gives you a very warm welcome. A very nice comfy clean room which has everything that you need. The bathroom is actually, and hard to believe in the UK, very clean and mold free which is really appreciated. The location is just a few minutes from the station, city center and the Castle. Can't be happier. Very quiet rooms and location”
“Had a fabulous stay over the new year. One small hitch but Tony the hosts father was there in 20 minutes to try and solve. We have already booked two more stays. We visit the Cotswolds several times a year, this could well beome our home from home.”
“Lovely lady at the cafe who freshly cooked the onions and peppers, and heated my wraps in an oven (not a microwave as some do). Tasty, fresh and cheap! Definitely coming back.”
“Stayed here overnight on a long journey. Everything fine. Very happy with the accomodation, hence a very satisfied 5 stars. However... Tripped over a couple of gotchas, though not the fault of the owner (lovely chap). 1, The room must be paid for in cash on arrival – my fault, I missed the message from Booking.com. 2, No breakfast! This is Google's fault: the description in G-Maps clearly (& incorrectly) categorises this guest house as a B&B (it isn't), *AND* it says that breakfast is available. It isn't. The owner hasn't served breakfast in over 2 years. The details in Booking.com are correct and I should've spotted this discrepancy. C'mon Google, get this entry updated. Why is it taking you over 2 years?”
“Wow what an experience!!! My wife decided to book us a unique over night stay. What is more unique than an actual castle. Set in the beautiful Warwick castle we staying in the Rose suite which is located at the top of the tower. Upon entering the room you get a real historic feel with a four poster bed and a put you up bed for my daughter. Whilst the room had an historic look there were quirky modern extras like a TV that rises from the bottom of the bed. I must say the concierge Erin, Jordan and Elle were exceptional, nothing was too much and when we asked for extra things it wasn't a problem. After the public leave you have access to the castle (towers, around the ground like peacock gardens and where the Falconery/trebuchet are) it's such a surreal experience! Included is breakfast which is in the state room, again so surreal! A room where such people as royalty have dined, also your name gets added to the guest list of people who have dined there....cool! Also included is afternoon tea which was delightful and again no problem when we had issues with changing things on the menu (fussy daughter). With your room stay you also get a tower suite card which gives you 20% off around the castle and a personal 1 hour tour before the public arrive. George was great and so informative. You also have a dungeon tour included. The grounds itself is well maintained, no rubbish flying around and all staff are very friendly and happy to help. To sum up, Warwick Castle suits should be added to your list of unique holidays. We paid £640 but honestly, it is 100% worth it.........book now!”
“Lovely little cottage, very clean and warm. The front porch is ideal to clean off wet dogs also the back garden is dog proof. The furniture and bed is very comfy. Great base for exploring the cotswolds very quiet village. The log burner is fab for the evening provides heating too. You don't have to turn up the storage heaters very warm cottage. When l visit the cotswolds l will book this cottage again ❤”
“I recently stayed at the riverside and it appears to be recently refurbished and modernised. It's been finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly. The food was good. The tv stations in the rooms are endless. The water pressure in the bath will blast it off you. Wifi in the rooms are free and good.”
“Staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite. Always pleasant.”
“Friendly staff aswell as locals. The room was great despite the floors needing a clean. Good location with courtyard view, despite the skip. Situated in the ideal place for the NEC.”
“So lovely and friendly the land last was so kind”
“I absolutely loved my stay in Britannia Coventry. It is a totally old-fashioned hotel with four or five Otis brushed stainless-steel elevators, the rooms are really nice (not luxurious but nice and comfortable and mine was big). The price for each additional day was not much more than 30 pounds, and I chose to have the breakfast which can last up to 3 hours, they have everything, cranberry juice, orange juice, coffee, tea, one of those big old toast machines, and huge trays of unlimited and really big nice sausages, whole stewed tomatoes, nice scrambled eggs, omlettes, fried eggs. I attach some pictures but to understand those are HUGE trays Ah, about the neigbhourhood, it is a 24 hour student neighbourhood, really coming up from how it used to be. But it is international and there are guards watching the door. At night you can go in and out any time, even after 11:00, but to come in you do need to push the buzzer so the receptionist (who is always there) can see you and let you in. Maybe a single older woman might find that a little too intense neighbouhood-wise but for a couple even older I would say it is fine, and for any young person it is fine.”
“Lovely hotel to stay in. Rooms were tastefully furnished. There is free parking in nearby streets. Hosts are very welcoming and sort any problems out. It would be handy to have an outdoor light (didn't see one) for going out in the dark as there are some deep steps. Also the bathroom could do with updating so it looks as good as the bedrooms. Either way I'd happily stay here again anytime I'm in Coventry :)”
