As we left we realised that the shop had closed (20 minutes ago) and we were the only customers left. Despite that, all the staff were helpful, there was no hurrying us up or tannoy announcement. “These stores layout and smell always remind me of visiting mainland Europe. They have a fairly standard layout and carry a range of competitively priced own label and some branded goods. There bakery is very nice. They are not a one stop shop for all your items unless you taylor your purchases to the store availablity. Very large carpark accessed easily. Public transport via stop a short walk away on Hessle Road near the flyover. I think the stagecoach number 1 is the best option. The store accepts cash and card. It is one of the newer larger stores with in-store bakery and the usual central isle weekly offers. I like the occasional one off lines they have presumably from elsewhere in Europe”

“Good sized store with a cafe and toilets (to the rear) prices on a par with Waitrose but there are meal offers and some basic priced products. The store is also a pick up point for online purchases. Not all tills are staffed but there are four self service tills.”

“Came in with my dad yesterday, he has severe mobility issues and as we were making our way through Vicky (with a C) came over and kindly offered us the use of a wheelchair! “Went to various stores in the city centre trying to find this quintessential staple of Hull. As it is manufactured here I didn't expect to have any difficulty finding it. However the only store that stocked it was the trusty Morrisons. So bought a few for both us and some Southern friends who love it. Plus a few other items from the amazing bakery. Definitely worth a look if you're in the City.”
