“Brilliant coffee & chai! Would come again for chilling hangout and work cafe! Interested in joining one of their activities”
“An oasis of interesting gifts, original artwork & more. Reasonable prices & vast eclectic selection, well worth a visit when in Slaithwaite”
“Fantastic hotel, lady on reception couldn't do enough to help us, breakfast was good as well, only disappointed with evening meal, microwave food and not warm or very nice, definitely stay again just would go out for evening meal.”
“Amazing location and everything we needed in our apartments. The apartments are beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly with every enquiry we had. There was complimentary bottles of prosecco in each apartment which was such a lovely touch to my friends hen weekend. Such good value for a central and beautiful apartment. Will definitely book again.”
“The BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! The drinks kept on coming ( we went for the bottomless brunch menu) and the drinks were all a 10/10. Big shout out to MYLES the Staff. I have never had someone attend to me with such professionalism and dedication. You just know he wants you to have a good time and ensures that happens. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. If you were considering going please do so. It was an amazing time.”
“What a great day we experienced on Monday the staff at this track are amazing professional polite couldn’t do enough for us. The boys had an amazing time. So much fun together a day they won’t forget in a long time. The staff at this track went out of their way to make The boys day a safe, enjoyable and fun experience. Well done to David Matt Miles Nathaniel Lewis and Luke.Xx”
“Lovely little restaurant. One of the best lasagnes I've had, and the tomato garlic bread was very tasty including the crust. Prices were great too. Highly recommended!”
“I stayed here for my first ever trip overseas, and this is my first time booking into a hotel. Amazing experience. At this hotel. Originally got there at 9 am and I thought I could check in early. Because my flight came in at 8. And I thought I could check in early. The reception said i can’t check in yet it’s too early but she held my suitcase and kept it safe for me when I went outside and explored Leeds city centre. I came back when I was closer to my time the chicken. I got my suitcase and checked into my room. .It’s a good hotel room nice and spacious. It’s exactly like an apartment you have everything you need like a microwave washing machine dishwasher stuffed top pots and pans etc. and they even give you dishwashing liquid. I know really beautiful of you. the bed was like the most comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. I also did enjoy the croissants and coffee in the morning in the reception. Those very nice not to have to buy breakfast every morning,. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying at this hotel. So I recommend coming here. You are very close to the city centre like a 17 minute walk if you don’t want to walk you can also take the bus that’s only a minute walk from the hotel. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel if I come back to Leeds.”
“The room is incredibly clean and comfortable. The room that I got has a great view. It was very quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this if you need a place to stay in Leeds.”
“A little basic, room was okay for a night but wouldn't want to do an extended stay. No tea or coffee in the room was a bit surprising, but maybe I missed that in my research. Clean, comfy, warm and friendly. Would stay again if it was just night or two. Breakfast was basic toast, cereal, croissant etc. Again nothing special but did the job”
“Great food great staff and beautiful pictures to look at really nice place to eat inside or out can't beat it”
“Super nice, swanky apartments. Great view of the city. What more can I say?”
“Lovely ladies at this salon always makes you feel welcome & at ease. Linda cuts my hair & I'm always happy with it.”
“Fantastic room, friendly staff, brilliant breakfast. We parked and walked into York. It was less than 0.9 mile walk. We will come back again.”
“After a long time wanting my teeth straightened I plucked up the courage to do it. I had a more complex case with a crossbite and crowding. Each check up and visit I made welcome and impressed by the professionalism of all dentists, assistants and staff. Really pleased with the outcome, my teeth are much straighter and I feel much more confident.”
“Love living at the Headline. There are very nice communal areas and also fun events they put on for the residents (coaster making workshop, macrame workshop, summer and xmas parties, etc). Amazing and friendly staff too - Corinne, Coren, Joe and George. They are always willing to help and make you feel safe and comfortable living there.”
“Really delicious food, great value. Had a lovely big family meal, atmosphere was really nice. Everyone left very full and happy!”
“Great well refurbished building, I have an office here and the service and attention to detail by the Michael Ops Manager and his team is excellent.”
“The place is an Absolute hidden gem. The building is stunning and the new beer garden is perfect for all ages. The food is amazing and caters for all tastes. The owners and staff are very professional and welcoming. If you’ve never tried the Circle it’s an absolute must. Even a Bouncy castle for the kids inside. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice.”
“Brilliant accomodation in central Leeds. Well appointed rooms. Lifts were out of order, but no offer for any help with the bags on arrival or departure. Fire alarm went off in middle of night ( very loud!).Apparently , this happens a lot as it's the fire door attached to the bar which is shared and it opened by mistake , setting off very loud alarms. Rooms have a small but useful selection of breakfast snacks , which were very handy with jet lag. Room was lovely and warm and welcoming for a late 11pm Friday night arrival. Was greatly appreciated. Would definitely staff here again over a hotel. Their online customer services/bookings was excellent.”
“Great shop with friendly staff and a wide selection of beers and ciders including non-alcoholic. A large portion of the the beers are from local breweries, but there’s also a good selection of National and international beers. Staff are always helpful and suggest beers based on your favoured styles.”
“Fantastically spacious apartment in a great location in Leeds City Centre. We were lucky enough to be allocated a 2 bedroom apartment with a huge balcony and loads of natural light in the living area though large windows on all the outside walls. Bathroom and bedrooms all clean and looked after, decent Wi-Fi, Smart TV. Was great to have something that felt like home rather than a hotel room for a few nights. Very minor issue getting into the locked gate but that was more of an us problem than the accommodation. Would be delighted to stay again.”
“Quirky and fun! The decor is all kinds of classic English history with a hearty splash of irreverence, split across a couple buildings that feel like homes rather than a hotel. The room itself was small, but that suited me perfectly — great for a solo traveller. Only thing to note is I’m somewhat tall for a woman and on that bed I just about could touch my toes to the window sill while my head was by the headboard. I thought it was quite fun but taller people might want to take note. Everything was neat and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The walls are a little thin, like in any old house, so you can hear some bustling in the morning, but I personally found that endearing. The staff were very kind and friendly, and even introduced me to the hotel cat, Teddy! The location is great, just a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town. I come through York frequently so I can say with certainty and delight that I’ll be staying here again! Thanks again to the staff for a lovely experience.”
“The best breakfast I've had in an age, bar none. A pleasant, clean and welcoming place, well lit and comfortably furnished. The staff were welcoming and tolerant of our prevaricating over what to have for breakfast. We all chose brunch options - eggs benedict; sourdough with avocado; and, sourdough with beetroot; plus a side of pancakes! I had the beetroot dish - Whipped Feta & Beets. Toasted sourdough with chilled pickled beets and a poached egg was an unexpected winner - the warmth of the bread with the flavour and chill of the beets, combined with the whipped feta, were a sensation. Sense of taste, texture and temperature running riot in my mouth with every bite. I had a large black Americano to wash it down - a flavoursome coffee - and felt genuine disappointment as I savoured the final mouthful of beets and bread, Great breakfast venue, thoroughly recommended.”
“Super friendly owners, fantastic views, lots of exotic animals not forgetting the holiday homes which are 5 star plus. Thanks for having us both and our pet John and Angela W”
“Lovely Shop, staff are very friendly and professional, the samples are what kept me there and leaving with a New lovely Single Malt. Such a great way to find a Whiskey that suits your pallet, tasting the different choices available was lovely”
“Very informative & helped us plan our day.”
“Stopped in for a coffee during our visit to York and ended up staying for lunch. Really tasty paninis, and the two staff members were welcoming and friendly. Clearly a favourite with locals too. Paid less than £20 for lunch for 2.”
“We attended a wedding at Lindley Manor House and stayed here for 2 nights - the location was perfect! We stayed in the Wellington Suite which was good value for money, spacious and of a great standard. There's parking on site too. There's a gym on the 1st floor and the Old George cafe has the title in my books as the best full breakfast I've ever tried! I would recommend staying here for those who are attending a wedding nearby. Lindley village is within less than 10 mins walking distance - Wine Lindley cannot be missed!”
