I ordered a made to measure wedding suit with incredible customisation. Extremely quick service and convenient booking system. Also worth noting I apprehensive about the budget but Wayne ensured I stayed within budget and did not push anything. Since then I have ordered a tailored shirt for the big day too!”

“I recently visited Loake in Leeds to purchase some dress shoes for my friends wedding. This was my first time purchasing shoes from Loake and I will definitely be returning in the future. After getting over the shock of my small shoe size (usually size 9, which in Loake size translates to a 7), I tried on a lovely pair of Buckingham shoes and my bruised ego was instantly restored. The service from Matt was impeccable throughout, lending some useful fashion advice in addition to helping me choose a suitable shoe. The store was quite quiet when I attended, so I also got to chat with Morgan whose character added to the experience. Lovely pair of chaps, cannot recommend their service enough!”

“Ordered t-shirts with some artwork my wife had made embroidered on the chest. I have just received these and I'm delighted with them. The material is a really high-quality cotton and the embroidery on the design is robust and exactly as I'd requested, despite the intricacy. Delivery was speedy (especially given it is a personalised item at this particular time of year!) and I now have plenty of time to give these out as gifts that I'm sure the recipients will love. Will definitely be recommending and shopping here again!”

“I visited this store to purchase a new pair of trainers as I wanted to increase my running distance. I was firstly met by Amy - one of the staff members who was super helpful and spent around an hour helping me try on various pairs of shoes. She put me on the treadmill and did a gait analysis which uncovered a slight imbalance in my feet. This made me very nervous but Amy reassured me that this is common and after a few more try ons found a perfect pair of trainers for me - New Balance 880. I was very sceptical about spending so much money at first but my new trainers have been perfect, and I'm now much more comfortable with running longer distances. The whole experience was friendly, warm, and welcoming and I will definitely be visiting this store again for my next pair of running shoes. “Having been to the Leeds store to make a purchase, I asked a member of staff whether they had any spare shoe boxes I might have - for several years I have been sending welfare parcels to British troops in Afghanistan and was in need of more boxes. Over the past few years of visiting the shop to collect these shoe boxes, I have found all the staff to be extremely kind, courteous, helpful and very friendly. Their dealings with customers are always of the highest standard, and I look forward to my visits as it's always a pleasure to chat with them when they are not dealing with customers.”

“I have visited the store twice now for fitting purposes and both times walked out with more knowledge than I went in with and now with 5 new clubs in the bag, have changed my game completely. On Tuesday I went in to a fitting with Neil, and the advice he gave me was measurable by going out yesterday, (the next day), and winning the mid week medal with a net 66. Massive Thank you to Neil, and I will definitely be in again,very soon, I'm sure.”

“28.11.25 - I collected the new number plates I had ordered today after someone had kindly pulled them off and left them on the road outside my house. A neighbour had glued them back on for me with "no nails" and they were cracked, so it was difficult for the young men who served me to use these old plates to measure up the new ones (and get the screws in the right place). I said they could glue them on if it was easier but they said no, they would try to screw them on first, as this makes them more secure. The store was really busy, with a constant queue (hence having to swap this job between them), but they remained calm, professional and helpful. I hope these two young men are being paid a decent wage, as they are a credit to Halfords. I will definitely go back to this store if I need help in future.”

“Fantastic service by Gem today in Snow and Rock, Leeds. Really knew his stuff and took the time to understand my requirements and issues, whilst adding relevant knowledge and information as to what I require, not only for my level now but as I (hopefully!) progress to ensure longevity of the boots I buy. Had a full custom boot fit including bespoke insoles and I’ve ended up with boots that cause me no pain and fit like slippers, whilst being tight in all the right places. Would 100% recommend him and the service. No more hire boot agony!”
