“Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”

“We came for my birthday and had a brilliant time! Ida and the Bookkeeper were fantastic and the rooms are so well themed and detailed. A really good range of puzzles ranging from relatively easy to challenging. Loved it and would definitely recommend !”

“Its been quite a number of years since visiting this cinema, and what a pleasant surprise ! Not only is their "Insider" membership (which is free) a great incentive - cheaper tickets on a Sunday evening and all day Mondays and Tuesdays - (plus "cash back on purchases) but the seats are absolutely amazing. Massive comfortable leather reclining seats with foot rests and loads of leg room. Highly recommended !”

“The BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! The drinks kept on coming ( we went for the bottomless brunch menu) and the drinks were all a 10/10. Big shout out to MYLES the Staff. I have never had someone attend to me with such professionalism and dedication. You just know he wants you to have a good time and ensures that happens. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. “My husband and I did the Gun Powder Plot room and completed it with 5 minutes to go. It was a lot of fun and not too challenging. We got some very tasty drinks from the bar before hand: definitely worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the seating area is clean and cozy, best described as a Steampunk Speakeasy.”

“Amazing service and venue! Just been for a baby shower. They accommodated last minute so well for my friend who had a nightmare with a venue that cancelled on her. Anyways it worked out for the best because the terrace was beautiful space! Super intimate and great on a sunnys day! “First time ordering a take away from here. Something for everyone on the menu. A meaty version for my other half and vegan pizza for myself. They even provided an insulated bag to ensure the pizzas retained their heat on the journey back home. We will definitely be back to return it!”

“Great facilities in Pin Yard. My nephew moved in there and he is loving it. The staff, the safety and security of the building up to full standard. The price of residing there is justified. It is for young people and gym and all facilities are there for them.”

“Fuuuuullllllup. Well that was a great bit of food. Deepfried gherkins, u filthy animal.. sooooo good. Try em. Biltong.. nom nom nom. Meatballs. Oh yes.. give me more. Mains. Ostrich like fillet steak but lighter. try it.. its not chicken. Monkey gland sauce... sweet and chutney like. Miele with the chackalaka sauce, different and good. Try something different for a change. Its nice and bloody filling, roll me home and pop me. Great staff. Good food. What more can you ask for...”

“This place is a proper hidden gem. Situated just up the road from the Alhambra Theatre, neatly tucked away. Absolutely wonderful food in a really friendly environment. The flavours were immense, with the meat so tender it just fell apart, non of this overcooked chewy business you sometimes find elsewhere. Definitely booked in for a return visit with the whole family next time.”
