Exceptional dining experience in Harrogate

“Stayed in a 2 bed apartment at Bank Chambers. Excellent flat in a great location. Tastefully decorated and fitted out with all the mod cons. Knaresborough is a lovely little town with some good pubs and restaurants in itself and only a short cab/train ride from Harrogate. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.”

“I visited this restaurant as a date night with my other half and the Food was out of this world along with the staff being exceptionally friendly who ensured our visit was enjoyable. They dealt with my food intolerance in a professional manner and never made me feel like it was a problem. The staff had a laugh and a joke with us and the vibe within the restaurant was warm and friendly. I would 100% go again and I've already recommended it to family and friends.”

“Went here on a Saturday evening for a birthday meal. We were given a very friendly greeting as soon as we walked in and out first drinks arrived promptly. There are some unusual and very tasty dishes on the menu and we all tried something new. Thank you to our server Emma who was able to answer all our questions about the food. Would love to visit again next time we are in Harrogate.”

“What an amazing little restaurant/cafe. Don't know why, always thought it was French when walking by but curiously stopped by peeking in at the pastry.... To my surprise its a wholly Moroccan affair. Had to stop for an expresso and a pastry and I won't lie, I'm going to have to come back to try the breakfasts.... And then the lunch..... And then the dinners! Super friendly, warm atmosphere with lovely smelling food! -Edit- Have now been for lunch and can confirm the prices are hella reasonable, the food delicious and seemingly all home made! Highly recommended!”

“We hired the top floor of Deliziosa for our wedding reception and had a fantastic evening. The staff worked with our vendors to set up the space before our arrival and everything looked perfect. Food was delicious (and generous portions!) and we had dedicated staff to serve drinks etc throughout the evening. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and they really made the day special. Would definitely recommend if you have your own celebration coming up!”

“I can't speak highly enough of Tarbett's! I recently ordered a platter for a celebration not only was it excellent value for money, the quality of both the product and the service I received were second-to-none. The team really know their stuff and gave great recommendations for the size of my party, and everyone commented on how fresh and delicious it was. We'd never go anywhere else for fish after such a positive experience; in fact, we enjoyed it so much, we are considering placing a regular order to keep our home fridge stocked year-round. “The recent renovation and the new management—from a renowned ex-restaurant in Leeds City Centre—have elevated the dining experience. The dim sum offers an authentic Hong Kong taste at an affordable price. Service was friendly, and the venue was notably clean and quiet. With a small car park and a nearby bus stop, the location is convenient. Highly recommended for a repeat visit.”

“My partner and I fancied a late night Thai takeaway and didn’t expect to find anything open, let alone of decent quality. We were so wrong! The service was fast, the curries were absolutely delicious, and they even kindly threw in an extra rice and prawn crackers. The food was all so fresh and the king prawns are to die for. “Stop off on way back from emmerdal tour. Called in place was extremely busy but still managed to sit us down. Very fast service given how busy they were. Waitress fantastic and really friendly. Food really well priced. Can't fault the place. I'd definitely go back next time in the area. Given how busy it was and football was on I could not recommend this place enough for a quick bite to eat. Great place.”

“I was very excited that a new Japanese restaurant was opening in Harrogate, as the selection here is not great. Tried two dishes so far - Chicken Katsu Curry and Salmon Teriyaki Don. Both of them were delicious, and despite being a take-out, they were nicely arranged in a bowl, and the curry was in a separate container to avoid soaking the meal. For two mains, I paid just £20.”
