“Wow what a amazing little restaurant, where to start, my starter was absolutely beautiful, I had meatballs in a tomato sauce with new potatoes and carrots, the sauce was so tasty, and everything was fresh, my main I got sea bass with green beans, new potatoes, prawns, with a tomato sauce, wow the sea bass was cooked to perfection, social distancing was followed and I really enjoyed my experience this deserves more than the 5 stars, will definitely be back very soon. “Review of Sambuca Armley Italian Restaurant I recently visited Sambuca Armley, and it was an absolute delight! We started with the spicy king prawns and lemon pepper king prawns as appetizers—both dishes were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. For our main course, we had the salmone pasta in a creamy white sauce, which was equally impressive. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of flavors made each bite memorable. We were able to take advantage of their special which runs Mon-Thu so we got a starter and main for just £13.95. The ambiance was cozy, and it felt like a hidden gem it was just a stone’s throw from home. I only wish we had discovered this place sooner! If you’re ever in the Armley area and love Italian cuisine, you must give Sambuca a try. I can’t wait to go back!”

“We got married at Wentbridge in August, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were struck not only by the beauty of the country house itself, with its charming character and stunning gardens, but also by the exceptional service delivered by every member of the team. The staff truly provide a 5-star experience. They were professional, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Many of our guests even went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the staff were on the day. As a same-sex couple, one of the biggest reasons we chose Wentbridge was because we were treated with complete warmth and equality from the very start. We always felt valued, respected, and celebrated, never “different”, and that meant the world to us. The food was another major highlight. There were plenty of options and the team were so flexible in tailoring everything to what we wanted. We chose afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast, and it went down brilliantly with our guests, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. A real luxury touch! Wentbridge is a perfect all rounder wedding venue. With family travelling from all over, having plenty of rooms on-site was ideal, and the variety of spaces throughout the hotel created a natural, enjoyable flow to the day. We were able to make the most of both the indoor and outdoor areas, giving us the best of both worlds. A special thank you to Chloe, Ellie, and Karen, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. “One of the best pizzas I have had! Tasted absolutely amazing and the food came very quick! Also had cheesecake for desert which was incredible! Price was decent, would 100% come back here! Definitely book a table as the restaurant was very busy around dinner time.”

“Second visit to L'Aquila and another great experience. Between the 4 of us, we had 3 different pasta dishes and a pizza - all really good quality and just right portion sizes. Beer and wine goid choice and decent prices. Both visits have felt like the front of house staff could do with one more at busy times as it was a little slow to take drinks then food orders, and a big gap between serving starters and mains (we like a decent gap, but this was a tad lengthy). Definitely didn't spoil the experience, so don't let it put you off - just be aware and look forward to a bit of a more relaxed pace than you might be used to. We will be back soon.”

“I'll come out the gate with a negative - Keighley isn't the loveliest of spots... But TotG was a little gem amongst it all. Lovely food - sunday roast - with good optional extras. But the stand out was the beer. So well kept, delicious, multiple option, and the ability to choose paddles of different types. Staff were fantastic and - aside from a couple who sat directly next to us and stared for the whole meal... - the pub was lovely inside.”

“This place managed to squeeze us in at the last minute on a Friday night. The Spanish bar maid was absolutely lovely, and the chap who served up was great too. We sat downstairs and I absolutely love the rustic feel and the seating arrangements/tables and style. For only the second time in the UK, I felt like I was actually in a tapas restaurant, eating actual Spanish tapas and drinking Spanish wine. Our date was perfect, the food was so good with our particular favourites being the chorizo croquettes, the duck, onion and cheese plate (sorry forgot the name, if the owner replies to this please name that dish!!!) And the Spanish meatballs. The food was so good, I actually forgot to take a picture until we were half way through the dishes, very unlike me. Perfect food. Perfect atmosphere, perfect date. We went again last night on a Friday night with our dog in the tap room and it was one of the best nights we've had in ages and the beers again were great! Great staff and really friendly atmosphere!
