“Fab little venue, the interior is gorgeous, would recommend getting a booth for a great view of the stage! We went for my partners birthday and they not only allowed me to drop a cake and candles off early, but got my partner on stage with the cake and sang to him - excellent! We had lots of food too, it took a little while to arrive but was lovely when it did, great prices and great service. Thank you!”

“I can't recommend Dave enough. He kept a group of 25 6 year olds entertained for 90 minutes and they absolutely loved it. All the other parents have been telling me how great he was. If you want a stress free kids party book Dave, you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much for making Lily's party so special ☺️”

“Wow!! My wife and I booked Taz for our daughters birthday party. It was her fifth. I was absolutely blown away by how brilliant Taz was. Taz had the kids in the palm of his hand for an hour and a half. None of them, not one, even got up to get a drink. Taz was hilarious!! Obviously the kids found him funny but mums and dad's did too. One parent complained as her jaw was hurting from laughing so much!! His magis was brilliant too, making the birthday girl the star of the show!! He made it a really special event. So much so that loads of the parents present were asking about booking him in the future too. I cant state enough how awesome Taz was. I wouldn't have anyone else now!!! Great entertainer amd all round lovely guy.”

“Went to Black Door this morning. I had the breakfast my friend had the avocado, both meals were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The staff member was great, very welcoming. We had gone for a catch up and weren’t made to feel rushed at all. Highly recommend this cafe.”

“Had a lovely time here during our short stay in Chester. There is a great selection of craft ales on tap and in bottles/cans. Plenty of seating on two levels and there is a live beer board. The Lady behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable about the types of drinks available. Highly recommend this venue and would visit again !”

“I recently attended the theatre to watch Conspiracies Redirected and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show. I did not know what to expect beforehand but thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was very well written and at times really funny. My favourite part was the dodgy looking alien and the character Rachel. Will definitely come to watch another show.”

“No food except for crisps etc... but a good selection of Keg and Cask ales. Try a paddle.... 1/3 pint of 3 separate ales! That way you can go through the board without getting sozzled!”

“Amans in Stockton Heath is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. We’ve bought many friends along when we fancied it and they’ve all enjoyed it and when they come back up, they request to go. Always consistent food, whether dine in or take away. Waiting staff are friendly and will accommodate your needs…looking forward to my next visit.”

“Held my 40th Birthday Party at the old courts last week. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. It has real atmosphere. Michelle the host was super attentive and helped me sort out a bar tab for first drinks and a cocktail for the night. It was all very laid back and easy to deal with them - no drama. I was particularly pleased when they cut the cake into pieces for me - not a job I was looking forward to. The whole team were fab, friendly and helpful. It is so cheap to hire too! I’d definitely recommend.”

“Only started going to this pub when our old pub stopped doing the quiz. What a find, brilliant food at a great price. Lovely friendly family run pub. We now go every Tuesday to the quiz here and have a nice meal before the quiz. The chips are the best I've had in years.”

“Been to a few shows, most recent was quite far back. Was expecting poor view, but nope - absolutely brilliant!!!!! Staff were helpful on the phone prior to booking, very respectful re my questions re. partner needing minimal step access to the lift etc Lovely theatre, with many big names appearing. “We had our Christmas meal this week at The Bowling Green, 22 of us, ordering from the large party menu and we had the best night. Communication in the lead up was brilliant and then on the night the whole team were so friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic, everything went perfectly. Thank you for having us! “Service was superb, Bailey was our server and he was extremely helpful and friendly, with his awesomely roarsome top. Nice Christmas theme in the location. Carvery was good, but not quite as good as previous visits, still good though. Puddings were huge and delicious!”
