“Interesting place this. My choice of real ale, Conwy- Rampart, was in gr8 condition. Many of Shakespears' quotes adorn the walls, many still in use today. It was a stormy night on my visit, so not many customers were in, which was a shame!”

“Had my little boys 3rd birthday party here and it was brilliant. Everybody loved it. It's small, safe, music at a level where everyone can hear themselves. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was brilliant will be going back for their normal stay and play days”

“First experience at the theatre it was great. The venue was small but intimate. The suppprt staff were very supportive and recognised those individuls who need help. “I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. I ate three courses of which the starter and main were huge portions but I couldn't stop as they were all so delicious and ate the lot. My dessert was basically ice cream with a rich toffee sauce and digestive biscuits crumblings over it, just enough to finish my meal off and all washed down with 2 glasses of house Merlot.”

“My son has been in Alder Hey for nearly 3 weeks and my daughter had been missing me so I decided to take her the park and then for tea. The staff at treetops restaurant in Alder Hey are overall unfriendly and food is average so I decided to try The Wheatsheaf over the road from Alder Hey. It was brilliant the manager was super friendly and helpful, my daughter has additional needs and she was patient with her and listened to her not ignoring her in favour of the adult. I only ordered a kids meal (great price) and some onion rings, it came in good time and she enjoyed her burger, the ice cream fun was next level and she was so excited to see it she nearly tipped the table! I would much rather eat here with the friendly staff and nice food than in Alder Hey. If you're a parent head over here sometimes it's far better than Treetops!”

“A lovely green space in the middle of town maintained and operated by volunteer Friends of Eaton Street Park and the Town Council. A friendly cafe operates in the summer at weekends and various events held throughout the year. A credit to the town and all the volunteers”

“I wandered in on a silent Friday night at approximately 20:28 on the 2023rd year of our lord. My thirst was unimaginable, however the bar staff used their arcane knowledge developed over decades of research to help me quench my hefty thirst. I shall be returning in the not too distant future in order to dwell on my most recent adventures with fellow travellers. Would recommend to thou friends.”

You can tell this place is run by a former teacher as it offers a plethora of stimulating activities and groups for babies and children. Fabulous Three Little Pigs sensory room full of wonderful sensory toys to stimulate babies and young children. The play area is very well thought out. A lovely balanced healthy menu for the family to enjoy at great prices. The staff work really hard to keep the venue clean at all times and are very welcoming.”

“My baby boy is with Jo and he absolutely loves it there! They have the best activities and his days are filled with fun and learning. Hes come on so much and is always smiling when he goes! I wouldn't leave my baby boy with anyone else! If you want the 5* golden care go to Jo's!”
