“My baby boy has been having swimming lessons with Fernanda. She is an excellent teacher, and makes both the children and parents feel comfortable. Swimming lessons are always fun for both me and my baby. Highly recommended.”

“Visited for the first time whilst visiting the area for the Hampton Court flower show. Very clean restaurant with a relaxing vibe. Helpful and friendly waiter who also held the door open for us when we left. Fresh, tasty and flavoursome food- perfect sized portions. I couldn’t decide between a 4 star or 5 star review, it would actually be a 4.5 star review if that was possible. As the fried rice with chicken was the best I’ve ever had I finally decided on a 5 star review. Worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“I had a great experience at this great pub located just off Esher high street. I had great communication from Liam to confirm my booking of 20 guys. He arranged a room for us upstairs, took table service for lunch and we were so well cared for by Sam. He was very attentive to us. The whole group had great things to say about their food. An excellent pub for a Sunday roast.”

We went to the cinema before, and because I knew we’d be arriving late on a Sunday (3:45) I specified what roast we’d like just incase they were running low. Anyway, the team did a great job holding our food back for us as requested as they did run out. It was delicious! Lovely cosy calm atmosphere too (and my Irish boyfriend loved his Guinness).”

My wife was injured on the way to The Bear, and we couldn’t have been met with more kindness and care. The staff went above and beyond, and Tracy was an absolute gem—warm, genuine, and made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than in a hotel. This stay really highlighted the contrast with one of the sister hotels we visited, which lacked the same warmth and charm. It’s our second time at The Bear—we stayed last year, and although my wife was initially hesitant about staying in a pub setting, she ended up loving it so much that it topped her list for this year’s trip. We noticed several subtle improvements since our last visit—small touches that really add up and elevate the overall experience. It’s clear that care and attention to detail are a priority here. If we had one minor complaint, it would be the limited parking, but it’s a small trade-off for such a welcoming and comfortable stay. Top rated—we’d love to return again.”

“We are very grateful to Dr Karim for her assessment and support for our daughter. Dr Karims service is very professional and efficient but equally relaxing and caring. Our daughter is highly anxious around professionals but Dr Karim was able to quickly develop a good rapport and identify needs and solutions that have had a significant improvement on our daughters, and family’s, wellbeing. Dr Karim quickly communicated treatment to our GP and established shared care where necessary. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely fabulous lunch, we have never seen such an extensive menu - I am disabled, the proprietor and a member of staff literally carried me in from the pavement into the restaurant on one of their chairs, I could not ask for such exemplary kindness and the food and the choices were out of this world! We cannot recommend this gem opposite Claygate Green more highly!”

A pleasure to have Lewis behind the bar serving a lively group while keeping things sensible. Bouncers Chessy and Leon provided a safe space for the kids to have fun while being respectful of our home. Hummings proprietor was very attentive making sure his team arrived on time and checking they had everything they needed to do a brilliant job. All supported behind the scenes by Mahathi who expertly understood our requirements and matched the team to our needs. My particular stylist Jordana has a wealth of experience behind her, is incredibly attentive and never without a genuinely friendly conversation. As someone who would sit down and ask “just make it look good” if I could, Jordana has a way of articulating exactly the styles I want and then executing accordingly. It’s clear that all of the stylists here are at some levels above the usual salon and as such I will continue to recommend friends and family to Hare & Bone.”

It's the first time ive trusted someone to French braid my hair on the floor in benidorm... luckily it was from daisy, she was so soft that Lindsey was blown away, I also witness Lindsey search for a lighter, that she couldn't finda, she's a sniper, with a viba, that protects like a fighter, long story ill recommend these services highly, daisy for promotion! Molly is worried daisy will become the saloons best stylists, can't wait to visit the branch in Surrey”

“My wife, daughter, and I ate here while visiting Chessington World Adventures. The food was fantastic, the ambience was lovely, and the staff were patient and very welcoming. The staff welcomed us and gave enough time between each course and couldn't be more helpful. The food was as good as a meal in Italy! We ordered both the bruschetta and caprese salad between my wife and l, and the tastes were well-balanced and only bettered by the fresh pumpkin ravioli and pizza. If we visit the area in the future, we will certainly be going back!”

“Genuinely nice family running the shop. Very friendly atmosphere, mum and daughter are very chatty. I went on Friday evening just for some chips, they were excellent and fresh. However they only take cash payment, which is fine by me as I'm old school. Do check if they are open in the month of August as they close the shop for holiday.”
