“Our cat unfortunately went missing in March. I had an email out of the blue in July from Parkvets to say she had been handed in along with 6 kittens. She was just about to be neutered when she vanished. We had previously been told by a local vet that she was a he, but that's another story. She had somehow travelled from Lincoln to Sidcup! Parkvets were marvelous. Looking after her and the kittens. Even taking photos and sexing them and weighing. I will be for ever grateful to them for tracking me down and reuniting us. An excellent vets.”

“I have been apart of the dance school for 9/10 years and I have enjoyed every part of being apart of it from the friends you make to the wonderful and encouraging dance teachers. I have loved every show and all dance exams with the incredible support of every teacher.”

“Both my daughters attended singing lessons here and within a few months their singing voices had massively improved. They both really enjoyed the classes and really liked that it was a smaller class, which allowed them to learn and focus more on their voices. The perks as a parent was the shows at the end of each term and I was very impressed that you received a report on their progress and what they would be working on to improve next. It also was an added bonus that some acting was apart of the session as the girls are actresses, so they received an extra lesson with Little voices in a smaller setting. Both girls obtained a distinction in their first LAMDA singing exam and was very pleased with themselves, especially my youngest daughter who started out not being able to sing confidently. Would definitely recommend Little Voices, Lucy is a talented and great teacher.”

“Kymme and Ken have been looking after our son for almost two years and he loves it there - he basically runs in in the morning. They have a great set up for kids in their garden and our son is always bringing back little paintings and collages. He's thrived there and we hope he will be staying into primary school.”

“My triplets have been at this nursery for 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier. As an Early Years Reception teacher with 18 years experience myself I found picking a nursery for my own children very difficult. Rise and Shine is an excellent Early Years setting with fantastic well structured adult focused activities as well as engaging independent provision. I get a detailed daily report about food eaten, nappy change, nap times and activities from that day. They also have a learning app with photos and full EYFS assessment details of all 3 of my boys. Most importantly to me though is that every member of staff is friendly, polite and welcoming. They show genuine care and kindness towards all my boys who are always so excited to arrive in the mornings.”

“My daughter started The Hospital Day nursery in Dec 2021, when she 16 months. She was born during covid pandemic and was so shy and nervous but really came out of her shell and had grown so much so quickly. I loved that they allocated her a key person who was usually always there or to greet her and she became really comfortable. They also send pictures which made me smile during the day. The nursery team work so hard but they always have time for you at the end of the day to chat about what they’ve been up to! If sending your little one is scary thought then they are in totally safe hands here!”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this school. Both of my children have done well here. My son started in year 7 with good but not brilliant results, he is now in the first year of sixth form having gained 9 GCSE's a-b grades and is on course for university. My daughter is doing exceptionally well in year 9, in all subjects. They're not perfectly behaved, they have fun in school and and are both very active - they like being at school, never want to take time off and have always achieved high percentage of attendance. They also make no bones in complaining if something isn't right - but hopefully do it in a constructive way. As parents we try to always show solidarity with the school in front of the children, but when we do complain, the school are generally receptive and sort things out. There are no doubt very badly behaved children within school and Cleeve is in my opinion used as the local dumping ground for troubled children, but the school has an holistic approach to learning, it cares about each and every child as a whole It has some fabulous teachers Mr K - an amazing math teacher and form tutor, Ms Morgan - has the finger on the pulse with every child, Mr Bone - brilliant, Mr Luck, Miss Goody, Ms Crozier and the fabulous Ms Stokes to name but a few....... My children have had brilliant opportunities with this school Duke of Edinburgh award, skiing trips, choir, drama,french trips, competing in the bexley athletics, University trips, engineering awards, sports leadership, mentoring to name but a few. The school has lovely grounds and makes a real effort to keep the school tidy and clean despite the efforts of some pupils who obviously don't know how to behave. I think its very sad, that children/parents feel the need to say such awful things about their school without balancing their comments with all the efforts that are made for the children who want to learn.”
