“Really friendly award winning club, great real ale.at good prices. This club has various music evenings, predominately folk, but hold an electric jam night twice per month. They have film nights, ukele singalongs and great artists performing most weekends.”
“I celebrate my birthday with friends and we had an amazing dining experience and good service.”
“I'm a regular customer at this off licence. I like it here...!”
“A true family run authentic restaurant. The owners put their hearts and souls into it and it really shows in the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere.”
“Our favorite restaurants in Orpington and we go there often. The lobster dish is absolutely delicious and perfect for two people to share. The best we had for a lobster dish. Lots of good seafood dishes that you won’t find in other restaurants around here. The salads is delicious that even I who isn’t a big fan of salad like it. Their children menu is also good. We particularly like the nutritious and healthy fish and veggies dish for our son. He cleared the whole plate. Very friendly staff and chefs. The price is very good too for what you get. Highly recommend it.”
“Really amazing sushi. No bad feedback. We’ll be back.”
“I was already a big fan of this restaurant - the tapas is excellent - and was interested to try their Sunday roast. I went on the first day of this new menu and, quite simply, LOVED it! There were a few nibble type starters available - olives, padron peppers, almonds, bread. We had the sourdough bread - this came toasted with an alioli sauce - very tasty! The main course choices were beef, chicken, lamb cutlets or a vegan wellington. We had the chicken and lamb - both were served with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All superbly seasoned and delicious! Good portion size too. We didn’t have desserts, but saw others tucking into cheesecake and churros. Next time! The staff were fantastically welcoming as always! Laura, kept saying words to the effect of “It’s our first day doing this…” - no need to justify anything Laura, you’ve already aced this! Pricing is well pitched - £19 - £21 per person for main course, depending on your choice of meat. Well done Laura, Danny and, of course, the brilliant Spanish chef, Freddy! Already booked to go back next week!”
“Friendly staff, nice little garden area and pool table.”
“This little gem was an amazing find Hosted a Baby Shower here on Saturday and cannot express how accommodating The staff were. Dan was very flexible and encouraged us to decorate, provide a playlist that he played through the function room sound system, he allowed us to go in early before the booking to decorate too. There is plenty room for a sit down occasion or a full disco/dj party. A back door leads out to the garden and a separate area too. The room has plenty of sockets and a bar, buffet food is an option too. Had an amazing time and everyone complimented on the venue and how quaint, country-feel yet quirky it was. Perfect, Thank you !”
“The Bull Inn is renowned for its Sunday roast, and it's no surprise that the pork dish left you impressed with its delicious flavor. It's a testament to their commitment to serving quality food, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.”
“Here, just in the centre of the village of Downe, we have the most lovely country pub you can imagine, with a good range of real ales, an amazing garden out back with several different areas, a delicious and affordable food menu, and just a short walk away from Charles Darwin's house. What more could you want. It's situated right next door to the village church, which is where the hourly TfL bus 146 from Bromley terminates, and the R8 also calls. Definitely worthy of a visit in itself.”
“Had my baby brunch here with my group of friends was a really love place to host a special day. Food was great. And we had a lovely lad Luca hosting our table great service and all around really lovely cosy pub/restaurant. Will be back with the family…”
“An unlikely stop, that turned out to be a great stop! A beautiful pub, they made us feel very welcome, great beer and great people. We didn't have time to stay for a meal unfortunately.”
“American style diner with friendly and welcoming staff. Great for families. We love the burgers and salad, and happy hour! Huge variety on the menu, with lots of daily deals.”
“Finished my walk in Farnborough Village and really glad I stumbled upon this traditional public house. Professional & friendly bar staff. Clean interior. Real ale was kept in excellent condition. Competitive prices. Would definitely visit again.”
“Went to Cypriani’s for the set menu and satin dolls night. The singing was brilliant, and the food matched. Tony did a great job looking after us and Nick made us feel very welcomed. 5/5”
“An exquisite little gem with an amazing staff, delicious food and great drinks. Highly recommended!”
“Went for Christmas Day Lunch, with my wife and a friend. Food was hot, well cooked and well presented with decent quantities - no skimping! No issues whatsoever; apart from the fact that we may need to book months earlier next year! We are irregular customers, and have never had a reason to complain about anything over the years we have been using The Black Horse.”
“Had a great time on Friday night at the Queens head. The pub was electric and the music was terrific, would very much recommend it. The staff were very friendly and efficient especially Jack the landlord and Tracey.”
“Never ordered from here before Glad we did food was delicious and delivered hot and fresh. The whole family enjoyed. Will definitely be ordering again”
“Eddies is a friendly off licence and grocery shop. Owner is very much interested in customer feed back both to improve service and improve the range of product. Parking always available either in the front of the shop or nearby free car park which is only couple of minutes away. All day to day essentials are well stocked up. Some halal products such as sausages and salami are available in shop. Owner is willing to take orders for meat which can be delivered the following day however I have not tried this service yet. Overall a pleasant shopping experience every time you go in. Finally a much needed late night off licence and grocery for the area.”
“The beauty is the pricing… It’s like a cold breeze passing by…. It’s just one forth the price from where ever you have a glass of beer…. Wide range to select and drink from.. Food was amazing, crispy stuff, to be eaten hot… than get it soggy… The next thing is that it’s a self service place..applicable to place tour food orders fast.. Go earlier book and get your table, pay for you drinks and unwind…”
“Excellent food, very generous portions, a number of traditional dishes beautifully presented. Catered for a lunch party of 30 people, very happy with the food quality, portions and friendly service. Would definitely use them again.”
“Vik and his team always provide a very good service. Very welcoming when going to this little local shop as well. Highly recommended”
“Great selection I'd wanted something cheap and easy for lunch as was hungry and at the end of the month £ was limited... id popped into Iceland as more convenient but except for the reductions which were fab and I had to resist as was for fruit which I already had; i had to go the long way round to Morrisons but was worth it as I got exactly what I wanted.. aisles seemed a bit of a maze and despite there not being loads of us in there I was asked to 'excuse me' twice possibly by the same person; maybe because the reduced section is very close to a pillar. Easy to get to checkouts; glad I didn't need to navigate the rest of the store and all seemed to be working which made a nice change... I hadn't noticed the kiosk just inside which seemed well stocked for an eve quicker visit .. glad I made the effort.. staff seemed nice too, very clean and uncluttered for a weekday lunchtime during the holidays.. thanks”
“I booked an afternoon tea in a pod for myself, my mum and my aunt today. I have to say that Fiona was absolutely AWESOME!! She attended to our every request with a smile and some great chatter. Fiona is a true asset to the Mulberry Tree at Ruxley! GIVE HER A RAISE!!! The food was outstanding too. A really lovely afternoon tea with the best scone I have ever had in my life. So thank you to Fiona for making our afternoon so special. And thanks to the kitchen for the beautiful food. I booked this afternoon tea as an early Mother’s Day treat and I am so glad we went. It was perfect and I highly recommend!”
“This place is a really good spot for Africans who can't afford the expensive African restaurants. The owner welcomes you with a smile. And its almost like being served in your house. The food is AMAZING! And unlike many African restaurants, the waiting time was surprisingly short.”
