“I ate here last night with my two children and it was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, came out quickly, and looked fantastic. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old's birthday and the staff made him feel so special. They brought out his cake with a sparkling candle and happy birthday music playing. He loved it!”

“Popped in for food and it was AMAZING!! I think new owners have taken it over about a year ago? I'm not too sure, but the menu is fabulous and everything that got brought out of the kitchen looked amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.”

“Me and my friend love Chinese takeaway and we decided to try that place and honest to god it was so good. We had a create your own noodle box and honestly didn’t disappoint. My friend was so shocked and now every time I see her we always go there to eat. The service is amazing! You can watch them make the food and the drinks there are very cheap. Whenever I eat there I always walk out looking very happy. Best noodle & sushi place ever! If you’re a sushi or ramen/ noodle lover I would definitely recommend going there. The photo of my ramen should be there. PLEASE GO!!”

“Where do I start…. Firstly, I have just left this establishment. I wasn’t disappointed. Flynn was my server. As an avid tapas lover who has visited many other businesses , I can confidently say that I have never had a server as kind and helpful, he really made the experience worth it . he was great. The food was amazing - 5 stars and 10/10 .”

“Having a large choice of Indian food in Cheadle village it could be difficult to choose which restaurant you would go to. Not anymore.....The food at Veeda was spectacular serving one of the best curries we've ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much. We usually would go to another local Indian restaurant but we now have a new go too.”

“Upon entering the atmosphere was great, very polite and friendly, the small appetiser that me and friend shared was really good, the food was really delicious, flavourful, wasn’t cold or undercooked, the dessert was super light but had really good flavour across all layers of the lemon cheesecake. “Food and Thorn Bistro, led by Nicky and her wonderful team, catered our end-of-year team lunch and delivered directly to our offices in Piccadilly, Manchester. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The quality of the food was fantastic, beautifully presented, incredibly flavourful, and clearly prepared with great care. Every dish not only tasted amazing but looked spectacular, taking our event to the next level and making it a truly special occasion. Nicky was an absolute delight to work with. Her professionalism, warm communication, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. The delivery and service were exceptional, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We will definitely be choosing the Food and Thorn team again in the future. I cannot recommend them highly enough for any event big or small!”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”
