“Cocktails were 10/10!! It’s hard to make a delicious Pornstar Martini but they so good we went back for seconds!! Lovely atmosphere and our server V was very friendly and made the best cocktails! Cant wait to go back! So good to have a local fab cocktail bar!!”

“A relaxed yet elevated dining experience, the team here are definitely focused on delivering not only a fine dining tasting platter but also engaging the customer in the journey of the food and wine. It was such a relaxed experience even though you are literally in the kitchen and watching how they prepare and deliver your food. The food may seem small but the flavour certainly packs a punch and if you really want yo elevate your experience then get the wine pairing and enjoy the delicate and robust flavours that it brings to the dining.”

“It is more of a takeaway, but there are a couple of couches to use if you would want to eat in. As for the menu, make sure you take your phone as you scan a QR code to get the menu. As I write this, it has only been open for a couple of months, but I am glad I found it. There are lots of options. Even for the less adventurous, there are flaversome options, vegetarians are also catered for. Overall, it was a great place to get your burrito fix. I will definitely be back.”

“Great food. What can I say. Only had the ribs this time with the Bonochi Garlic Bread and it was fantastic. Definitely be back on Mother's Day. I just wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try everything on the menu all in one night........oh and the food is probably half eaten in the pics because it just had to be dived into and eaten. “Went as a couple to celebrate a birthday, easy to book online with SMS confirmation and a reminder. Seated to within a few minutes if arriving. We were placed to the back where it's a larger open plan room and were sat next to a large group, also celebrating with noisy (well behaved just noisy) children and where the cutlery station is. As I had a headache, I asked if we could be moved to a table near the front and the gentlemen kindly moved us to a quiet "nook". Think he was the manager, really appreciated this. We were served by William; friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Checked on whether we wanted additional drinks and gravy, and timed it when we didn't have food in our mouths :) We had the Sunday sharer, hats off to Alex the grill chef. Food was hot, portions are decent. 2 big fluffy Yorkshires and the meat was cooked just as ordered, not fatty and very juicy. Would recommend.”

“Had a lovely meal, the chef even offered to make something not in the current menu, after there wasn’t a great deal of choice for a vegan diner. The waitress Katie was very hospitable, and went above and beyond to make the whole experience even better. Atmosphere was great even for a Tuesday evening. Will definitely be returning”

“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

“Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

“Please ignore the low reviews because they are simply not true. I've had many curries but Mister Ali's hits the spot! Me and my friends spend the evening dining here and the staff were amazing, the food was fabulous and always has been. I came here many years ago and the service and commitment to the food has not changed. Keep doing what you are doing, ignore the haters and thankyou so much!”

“I found an oval glass sequin thing in my food. I guess it fell off the woman's bracelet, or necklace, or earring that was cooking the food. The thing is I never mentioned it to them and I still buy meals from here. I suppose it's a 1 in a million thing. It's just a good job I chew my food before swallowing it, because that thing was about 1 inch long, 0.5 inch across and about 0.25 inch thick, with a sharp edge around it. Whatever it was, it was obviously meant to stay glued into whatever item of jewelry it fell from. What I always laugh about is, it was in one of their most expensive dishes "Singapore Vermicelli". Oh well. I know I could have made a big stink, but I could understand at the time, whoever cooked the meal had obviously just brushed their wrist or whatever on the pan and it fell in. Still, I'll never forget it, I mean what if a child swallowed that. It's unbelievable that it can end up in your food. This chippy has a high rating (4.6/5.0) on "Google Reviews". I must be the only person that had a sharp piece of glass in his food. Even so, I still rate it highly, because it's decent enough food for the cost. The only thing I didn't give 5 stars for was atmosphere because there isn't really one, I mean it's a chippy... is there meant to be? lol”

“Always a good here here, the kebabs are huge. One of the few places which ask for a little less meat and a tonne more salad are happy to do that. They are happy to make changes to your chosen item too. Delivery is fast too.”
