“We are regulars here at Ying Lung. We really enjoy it and find it's the best in Northampton. The only thing I wish they did was accept cards for payments but a lot of Chinese takeaways are cash only so this isn't unique to Ying Lung, and the food makes up for it!”

The roasted potatoes look crisp and golden, while the mixed vegetables — broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots — bring color and a healthier counterpoint to the richness of the steak. They appear roasted rather than steamed, which gives them a more flavorful, caramelized finish. The sauce served in a small metal boat adds an elegant restaurant-style presentation. Its creamy texture hints at a peppercorn based sauce. A glass of beer in the background completes the meal perfectly.”

“Nice little Japorea restaurant with good selection of Japanese and Korean staples; probably best sushi/sashimi in town. Was there during quiet period so can’t comment on atmosphere, but ambience was relaxed.”

“We visited Aramintas Northampton, on the spur of the moment. We were welcomed into a clean, vibrant, well decorated and atmospheric restaurant, with very smart, helpful staff. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, well presented and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend visiting here and can't wait to come back!”

“The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”

“As always Hilton was fab. What really stood out about this location was the staff, don't get me wrong they're always lovely. We had our 2 yr old with us, when checking in the ladies at reception moved our room to the ground floor as lifts were being serviced when we came. So thoughtful, saved us a lot of trouble. They offered lego, crayons to colour with, and wordsearch for little one. Breakfast the team were attentive, again they saw little one and asked if we would like children cutlery and brought it out. Another staff member came over and let us know they could do waffles or pancakes for little one. We went with pancakes and he loved it! Same staff member (I'm cross with myself that I didn't get her name) when we getting ready to leave asked 'will we be seeing you for breakfast tomorrow?' We were just there for the night, she asked if we had plans for the day, my husband was taking our little one to a kids play whilst I had to go to work. Which she gave some solid recommendations on, glad she did because the place she'd said had been amazing. We were at Hilton in Bath earlier this year, this extra care from the staff didn't happen there. Again please don't misunderstand they had been lovely. But this level of care is what made my husband and I say we won't be bothering with any other hotel when we visit Northampton now. I know...long winded. But this family of 3 was very grateful and I truly wanted to convery that. Thank you!”

“I had a great stay at the Northampton Bedford Road Premier Inn on the A428. The receptionist team was incredibly welcoming and made check-in smooth and friendly. A special mention to Fridah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.”

“Raced to argos at 7:50 to retrieve my bargain of an RC car, and despite being the last customer at 7:59pm, the lady at the front desk was still welcoming and kind. 10/10 service, very pleased.”

“Its was super busy here at 6pm on a monday, but the pizza was hot and tasty, you can easily drive past this branch as its next to a petrol station, nice big free parking area, ordered on the app and collected in person on the large pizza for 14 deal.”

“Surprisingly fantastic. Had a room on the top floor and the room itself was much bigger than I was expecting. Only two plus in the whole room, but I just unplugged the kettle so I could plug in both my phone and laptop chargers. Very clean, plenty of pillows and towels, all the basics and bare essentials covered. Very happy!”

“Danny served up what was undoubtedly the best food I have ever tasted for our wedding. His efforts trumped any meal I've had at, even at a Michelin-star restaurant. He was also an absolute dream to work with. Changes to the menu, even last-minute ones, were met with a can-do attitude. His flexibility and positive demeanour took a lot of stress off our shoulders, and made the planning process much smoother for us. The standout aspect of his service was how he accommodated our guests with food allergies and intolerances. He didn't bat an eyelid when asked to prepare alternative meals, ensuring no one felt left out. He took great care to ensure these dishes were as delicious and well-presented as the others, which my bride and I felt was truly commendable. It made those guests feel equally important and included in the celebration. In a nutshell, Danny was not just great at his job but also a great person to work with. His dishes were a hit, his attitude was professional and his attentiveness to all our guests' needs was truly heartening. We really couldn't have asked for a better culinary experience for our wedding. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a top-notch chef, and I will certainly be using him again!”

“I booked here to attend the GP at Silverstone but due to unforseen circumstances I had to cancel then I was recovering so well was given permission from the hospital to attend. All through this Gill was going out of her way to accommodate me. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend this establishment without hesitation. Beautiful clean room and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Well worth the money.”
