“Nice, warm room. Massive bed! Lovely hostess, but we've been a few times before so are familiar with the layout, etc. Nice breakfasts, full English, cereals, fruit juice or whatever you choose within reason. Very accomodating and close to the town centre.”

“Went to Cibo on Newnham Street many times before and always had amazing service and subs so was a bit sad when it closed. Went to the new location a few weeks ago and although the vibe is different the subs are still incredible. The food was delicious, massive portions and always the best quality ingredients are used. The staff are always smiley and friendly so will be going back again.”

“Love love love!! What a great pub. We are first timers and came down to the Devvy last week for the 125th anniversary day and what an atmosphere, the place was jumping! All the bar staff and the owners were all dressed in outfits from different decades, it was fab! Very friendly too. Goats in Trees were our favorite, they were electric. “Ladies go for ear piercing! We were welcomed. We braved a men's space and was fully welcomed. A professional place space for proper timings, so you know where you are. Good hygiene. Each ear has its own individually wrapped gun and stud earring attached for extra hygiene and ready to go, once unboxed and unwrapped. It is placed onto the ear which was marked for guidance. Then pierced. Which can hurt. It is up to you to continue that hygiene on your piercing. It is of course easier with the extra cleaning solution that comes in a small bottle. Only a few pounds extra. All in all we were happy with the service and the gold or silver plated stud earrings. Great service that didn't take a long time. Thank you.”

“Dropped in mid-week, easy to get a table but they'd quite a number of people in. Still quiet enough to chat easily. Lovely menu, we'll need to get back to try more as the food was great. We ordered a sharing platter, Greek salad, spinach pie and meatballs - it all tasted as good as it looks. Finished off with the orange Pie and coffee. Orange Pie was a great holiday discovery, we've been trying in restaurants ever since... We think this has the No 1 spot now!”

“My favorite pub in the UK! I’ve visit a lot of pubs but the Cross Keys is near home and every time I go is all joy, food, drinks, restaurant, pub, garden in summer… I visit almost every week and I never regret it. Fully recomended! Best part? Cruzcampo, a beer from Sevilla, my home town.”

“Heard about 5 Akhis (which means “five brothers”) and made the trip up from London to check it out… And honestly, it was worth it. The burgers are seriously scrumptious! We tried a mix: the Classic, the OG Classic, and the chicken burger called the Blazing Bird. Every one hit the spot. The loaded fries are another level… We went for the Chicken Strips Remix, which comes stacked with fries, cheese sauce and ranch sauce.. Proper comfort food! Prices are decent too: around £13–16 for a burger meal, and £7.99 for loaded fries that are big enough to share. The place itself is pretty small, only seats about 8–10 people max, so it’s worth ordering ahead because it does get busy. Service was really friendly, and you can tell they care about what they’re serving. I’ll definitely be going back! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a proper good burger”

“Lovely pub on a very pretty high street, warm welcome and a few beers to pick from. Would be nice to see a good IPA on draft but other than that it's well worth popping in. They do regular live music and food events too.”

“Having had a couple of disastrous visits to a turkish barbers in the area I was giving up hope of ever finding a decent haircut in my new town Wellingborough but luckily my brother had been singing the praises of becks at the groom room so I gave it a try. Becks looked at my current haircut, suggested some improvements which I took on board and went to work ... and I wasn't disappointed. It's probably the best haircut I've had in a longtime (my girlfriend certainly thinks so) and not only that but the price was amazing (just over a tenner? I'd pay double if not more back in london). Happy to recommend to all.”
