They are seriously the loveliest people ever - they made the whole process so easy, and it was genuinely delightful to work with them. All we knew was that we wanted pie and mash for our wedding, and they REALLY delivered. The entire meal was mouthwateringly amazing, from the pie (best pie I've ever had), to the creamiest mash - even the veg was incredible. The portions were incredibly generous too - which is something you don't often get at a wedding. We've had so many compliments from our guests who have said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. They invited us for a tasting beforehand, and we got to choose from so many incredible types of pie (one of the best tasks I've ever had). If you're looking for a sign to choose Nonsuch Kitchen as your wedding caterer - THIS IS YOUR SIGN.”

I love that they put up the chef on duty name at the bar, so many thanks to Chef Sky, we enjoyed our meals. There is plenty of nice seating inside and outdoor dining space for good weather. “5th July we have been to the Ferry Boat Inn and a had a lovely meal. Excellent value with nice food. It has a large car park. Very large eating area. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Service was quick. The location is absolutely beautiful next to the Trent. The three of us had a dessert off of the children's menu, and it was really good and an ample portion.”

“Had a lovely all you can eat breakfast for my birthday and the staff looked after us so well. My friend and I visited with our babies and they helped us with high chairs and fetching drinks and food from the buffet for us while we were breastfeeding which was such a huge help. Our eyes were too big for our bellies but they very kindly provided us with take away boxes so we didn’t have any waste. We ordered some Prosecco to have with our orange juice and when they heard it was my birthday they gave it to us on the house. Fantastic service, will definitely be back again!”
