“We love this place! Since Sarah and David have taken over the Neighbourhood Coffee Shop, the place has definitely improved. The focus is now on quality homemade goodies and community. I can't fault anything I've had from there. The cakes are lush with plenty of options. The sandwiches are good quality and always come with side salad, crisps, etc. The breakfasts are so tasty. The loose leaf tea is great and sourced locally, and the coffee is better than you would get from a high street chain. Great options for dietary requirements like alternative milk options and gluten-free produce. They offer afternoon teas, outside catering and community events. To top it all off, it's really good value as well as good quality. We really look forward to our weekend visits.”

“I am working in the area at the moment and popped in just on the off chance and I was definitely not disappointed. The food was delicious the hash brown I had was soft and fell apart when I picked it up which I thought would of been crispy HOWEVER I took a bite and it was still packed full of flavour I definitely would have one again. The two ladies that was on was lovely excellent communication and service from both of them which made the visit more better. The Atmosphere was good as well nothing to fault it was a busy day with customers when I went in and that is always good to see. Thank you for a great breakfast and visit.”

Not much parking available, but we could park on the street and it was quiet due to it being the weekend. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.”

The fillet of beef was utterly delicious which is not an overstatement. Butternut squah terrine was creative and varied. As a side dish we also ordered triple cooked chips with smoked garlic and parmesan. I am not a big fan of chips in general however that one caught my attention and I enjoyed every single piece. Portions are tiny here as they are in most fine-dining restaurants. The only thing we did not like was the concept of service charge. It does not allow for an individual reward which might be a higher percentage point that the service charge itself. Yet, the overall culinary experience was worth it!”
