“Ate here on a Saturday evening. Food and drink were excellent. Food was cooked perfectly and served very promptly, with the main course a good time soon after the starters. Staff were very attentive to the empty plates and when drinks were empty. Atmosphere was nice, with several other tables dining at the same time. The one issue that our party had would be the temperature of the room, it was slightly on the cold side, but that could also be because of the time of year.”

“We had a wonderful day shopping then popped into here, was met by the bubbly and happy phoebe, we were served lovely food very quickly, the service was wonderful everyone in the team seemed happy and so lovely. But phoebe took the time to make us laugh and made sure we enjoyed everything! Its a lovely place will visit again another time as the team and place looks so clean and the food was delicious!”

“Definitely the best dining experience in Nottingham, hands down. (I visited the Showcase cinema complex branch!) First class food, first class service. Great ambience and music. And out-of-the-world price! I didn’t even realise I came here on opening day, and it’s all decked out, the staff revved up and smiling. Thanks especially to Burak- excellent recommendation and such warm service. Great guy. And thanks to Sedaf too for her friendly service. If you haven’t visited this place, you must. Great tasting genuine Turkish food, good portions. Very clean place,, good vibe, warm service, and it does not tank your budget…. what’s not to love?!! “Kelly is absolutely lovely and offers amazing customer service she was helpful with deciding on food and very easy to talk to. Portion sizes for the price were incredible i was blown away just by seeing how much food I had for such a reasonable price. The shop was clean and pleasant to sit in whilst waiting. The taste and enjoyment of the food was 10/10 I had the salt and pepper chips and special fried rice and I loved it. First time eating there but definitely will go again could not recommend enough.”

“Had heard good things about Chai Yo Thai so when craving a Pad Thai recently we decided to give it a go. What a brilliant decision. We each had the Saturday lunch deal and went for a honey and lemon tea each to go with it. The tea was delicious and sweet and the food was equally as good. My satay skewer starters were tender and beautifully charred and the sauce was fantastic. The Pad Thai main was equally as good. Portion sizes were very good too and the service was excellent. Now we've tried Chai Yo Thai we'll definitely be back again rather than going to the larger chain restaurants - the food and value is so much better.”

“One of the best takeaways I've had during my two years in Nottingham. The owner and staff are always very happy to see us, today they offered us complementary chips and prawn crackers while we were waiting as they were a little busier than usual. The food portions are gigantic, always feel full after eating. The menu is very diverse, with lots of different offerings. We usually get the "Create your own box" which is only £8 for a medium box. Will always continue to be a loyal customer here and would highly recommend.”

“Had an absolutely scrumptious meal here. Every single dish was delicious and packed with flavour, particular shout out goes to the spring greens, my taste buds were dancing. The cocktails were really good as well, the blue moon over Tokyo shone, it was a fruity, sherbet packed delight. The setting is very cute and cosy, it's like a converted, low lit cave. Staff were very friendly. At first they were serving us one dish at a time with like 5 mins between them which I much preferred as it was like a tasting menu almost and gave us time to enjoy and savour each one while it was fresh and hot.”

“Do not be fooled by the restaurant's exterior appearance. We went there for the first time today and we were very pleased. The service was fast and very friendly. The food is simple, fresh and great. It gave us the feeling of being a family restaurant with authentic, delicious Chinese food. Furthermore, the price was extremely affordable, having paid less than 40 pounds for two starts and two main courses. Definitely recommend this place!”

“Excellent pub about 15 minutes walk from Nottingham Railway Station. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout plus a range of real ciders. Lots of outdoor seating upstairs some of it covered. The pub is known locally as the King Billy.”
