The food was outstanding—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. Every dish was clearly made using high-quality ingredients, and the presentation was impressive. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the balance of flavours showed real care and skill in the cooking. You can tell that attention to detail is a priority here. What really stood out was the consistency. Everything arrived on time, hot, and exactly as described. Any special requests were handled professionally and without hesitation, which made the experience even better. The service deserves special praise. Staff were knowledgeable, patient, and always available without being intrusive. They checked in at the right moments and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. This level of customer care really sets the place apart. The overall atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal—whether dining in with family, friends, or visiting for a casual meal.     “The food was so tasty. My husband and I had lamb shank, there was so much meat on the bone and we ordered cauliflower cheese as a side, this was V cheesy and there was plenty. Mother in law had the venison stew, she said it was tasty and there was loads. My son had the boar sausage, he ate everything and said it tasted really good. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We were a bit cold in the snug, but they turned the heating up for us and we soon warmed up. Will definitely go again.”
