“Originally went in to arrange a stereo install as my last stereo had issues in this car no matter the fix i tried. I was contacted when the additional parts had arrived and was told I could leave them with the store for the fitting day. On the day of install all was good until an issue arose with the parts for my install causing multiple stalls. While the install couldn't go ahead for the stereo because of the parts issue the engineer did talk me through and show me all of the things that were causing issues (which i can and have fixed myself at home). As I'd had wiring issues previously for stereos in this car i asked if the new unit could be fully tested just to check on wiring and that all worked fine. After all was said and done and cleared up, I went to ask the engineer how much I owed as the booking was still taken and I was still assisted. Surprisingly I was told there was no charge because the install hadn't happened. From the beginning to end the communication and service provided was superb and I will be keeping this store in mind for future use.”

“We will likely come again and recommend to others. The site has a lot of people like us who live in Sheffield either testing equipment or in my case just wanted to book a last minute adventure with minimum travel. Kids loved it, making some holiday friends. Showers warm and clean but the type you have to keep pushing to turn on again. Toilets clean with loo roll. They described it as busy but never had to wait for any facilities. Pot washing had clothes and washing up liquid which was amazing as I hadn't packed them. Clean water tap worked well. Paying was slightly awkward, you go to the farm house and lots of 'beware of the dog' made me nervous, what if I wasn't meant to go there. Fair price £7 per adult and £3.50 per child.”

“Had some routine maintenance work done on my van here which I was happy with, however it was a few days later when my clutch failed when the guys here really helped me out. They helped me get my van to the garage, diagnosed the fault and repaired and got me back on the road within 24 hours. I was kept informed of what was happening and Nathan in the office explained what work needed to be done and why. I didn’t get the technicians names who worked on my van but they even fixed a fault on my van that I’d bodged myself without charge! Excellent service and I would give more stars if I could! Will be bringing all family vehicles here in future. Thanks guys!”

“What an amazing bunch of people. Had an issue with my tyre which was leaking pressure. Popped in and they sorted my problem with some great advice for me to follow up on as my alloy had a problem. Even though the alloy was causing the issue they helped me out so I could continue my journey. I think this is the most professional service I have ever had. I will be back in the area soon and I am definitely taking my cars to these guys. Thanks to all there today who helped. Big shout out to John for sorting it all.”

“I went to have new headlamp bulbs fitted and was given a free health check on my car. Jake, the member of staff who did this was absolutely brilliant, so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough.He checked my oil, topped up the windscreen wash and checked my tyre tread and pressures. Also, having the bulbs fitted was alot cheaper than I thought! Great service ,very highly recommended. Thankyou.”

“I dont understand why people rated 1 Star. Maybe, a year ago the Service was Not as some people wished. Maybe Planet X invested in their customer Service capacities since then. I have no other explanation for the Bad ratings... Because in April 2022 i got the Best customer Service that i ever had with a Company. We had a Mail conversation of 30+ Mails because i ordered from Germany and the brexit/custom issue brought many question to me. The guys from Planet x made anything possible, even if it took a lot of time... My only Real "problem" Was, that the brakes needed a bleeding after the shipping. This can happen sometimes, since the shipping May harm the brake Performance. But Planet X was so Kind to even pay the bleeding Service bike Shop Bill. So... Totally happy. Just write a Mail to the customer Service if you have doubts. I will definitely make another order some day! And last but Not least: the bike runs like crazy! :)”

A very real, kind, supportive human experience, if only all shops like this. Made difficult choices and awkward problems so much easier and helped sort best solutions in all cases, and always great to chat to, I hope they get recognition they deserve and all businesses would be run this way with people like this who are so helpful and nice. Heidi was working the footwear section and could not have been more helpful. Had plenty of boots over the years but Heidi made sure that they were the proper fit even getting another size to try on and doing a proper fitting. Excellent, friendly service then Eleanor was serving on the till and, despite being busy with customers was polite and friendly with every single one. Top service.”
