Very good service and delicious food; between us we tried several seafood pasta dishes, and a Caprese starter (which oddly had rocket instead of Basil, but was still very tasty). Good value wines and friendly and relaxed service.”

“my partner and i had a one off free few hours from the child, and we had completed a big job throughout the day so we wanted to enjoy our tea and have something different. the food was beaut, the timings were spot on, the service was great, all the girls and guys working there were friendly and smiley and looked like they enjoyed their job. i believe someone beside us must have been a little tipsy and had been sick. The man who looked like the duty manager on shift dealt with this perfectly and discreetly, hats off to them, brilliant example. well done team, we will visit again, the attentiveness of our server was Shanika, such a smiley young lass, very good at her job”

“Always have a lot of fun here! Definitely the best karaoke service in Sheffield, and it doesn't hurt that the staff are really accommodating and friendly. The price is totally affordable and the equipment is great However, if I could make one change I'd update the song list. Me and my friends always come here because Kmax has the best service but it would be really nice if they updated their song list for both English and Korean songs. Thanks :)”

“Absolutely beautiful pub ! Landlord and his 4 legged furry landlady Millie are welcoming , keeping the atmosphere light and positive! Staff are friendly and on the ball . The pub is clean and smells lovely with good drinks served at smaller prices !”

“Great atmosphere in an old building in the heart of Sheffield. Huge selection of beers and ciders. We were there on a quiet Monday evening but they still put on live music - a three-piece jazz/blues band. Highly recommend if you're in the city centre and fancy tasting some unusual brews.”

“I love this place! Our favourite restaurant in Sheffield. It's a really friendly place and the staff are always nice. The decor is lovely and the food and the cocktails are amazing! Keep an eye out for happy hour and special offers on different days. If you're going in the evening or at the weekend, make sure you book a table in advance as it gets busy. There's usually live music at the weekend which is a lovely bonus. Highly recommend.”

“Been in several times since reopening post lockdown. Much improved atmosphere since reverting back to a live music venue rather than being dominated by sports. Staff were super friendly and accommodating and prices very competitive. No longer serves food but welcomes you to bring your own or order takeout which I took advantage of both during a visit with adults and a visit with my two children on another occasion. Cutlery, serviettes and condiments were provided and staff happily cleared away our rubbish afterwards. I shall definitely be returning!”

“The Botanist in Sheffield is hands-down our go-to spot for a perfect date night. My boyfriend and I come here all the time, and it never disappoints. We always start with the camembert, and honestly, it’s unbeatable. For mains, we can’t resist the chicken burger. It’s consistently amazing. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality. The service is always outstanding too. The staff are so friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. Add in the gorgeous atmosphere and it’s just the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food.”

“What a stunning place this is. The decor is tasteful, subtly lit, but not too dark. The staff were attentive and not in your face at all (very much appreciated). Our large group ordered a variety of things from the menu, but we all received our food at the same time. I ordered the red Thai curry, which was unbelievably nice. I'll definitely order it again on our return. All in all a very good experience and somewhere we'd definitely recommend and definitely visit again.. Sean.”

The drinks were perfect, well prepared with expert service behind the bar from staff who were friendly and offered great advice on what went with what. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend whether for a quick visit or a longer evening in. We'll be back!”

“I had an absolute brilliant night at the village screen watching The Princess Bride. The staff were all incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. The cave was so cool and decked out with lights and chairs. We got a snuggle package which was great! (Blankets, hot water bottles and sweeties!) the atmosphere was really cool and we loved the food vendors on offer just a short walk from the cave. I can’t wait to bring more people here!”

We went just after Sheffield Wednesday finished their game (it is next to Hillsborough Stadium), but found no issue with transport as it is close to the tram stop. Overall, a great experience!”

“Lovely little real ale 'homemade' gem of a pub.. Apparently built and owned by the guy who runs it - and his dedication shows in bundles. There's a popular quiz night, very well kept beers, a cosy quirky decor and it's dog friendly.. It's not very big though so it can be a bit of a squeeze when it's busy. A couple of small steps and quite a tight doorway entrance, but possible to get a wheelchair in with some assistance + it's not open every day so check the times before setting off. You won't be disappointed!”

“If you like Italian food,then you don't need to look any further than here. We booked a very early evening time slot on a saturday evening for 5.00pm. Thinking we would get there before the crowds. How wrong can you be? The car park was almost full. This is no more a hidden gem. It's shining in the spotlight and so pleased to see them doing so well. This is one of those very rare restaurants, where if you can't choose what to order you could just leave up to the chef to decide for you. The food is all so fresh and absolutely delicious. Even though they were busy,the service was spot on and friendly. Staff are totally on the ball and constantly checking on every table. If you are going to go,make sure you book!”
