“Didn't know what to expect... First timers with Ethiopian food. Warmly welcomed, food explained & very tasty. No cutlery, eat with the copious Ethiopian bread & fingers. Ask about heat/spiciness if concerned - mild dishes available. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.”

“I’ve been a regular at Rudy’s for the past two years and it’s definitely one of my favourite spots in Sheffield as a student. So when I brought my family here after graduation - It was such a pleasant experience as per usual and it was so endearing to see that the service and quality of food has remained consistent as it has been since my first visit! Our server Kim was really nice, she offered me free prosecco for graduating and also an extra dessert on the house even though we already ordered two! The pizzas came out really quickly and the servers were very attentive IE Asking us how we wanted the pizzas to be served, constantly refilling our water jugs. I’ll miss Rudy’s greatly as I graduate and move away from Sheffield as I had so many pleasant memories here especially for its price range, and I hope everyone else will get to experience it too!”

“First time visiting this establishment, whilst on the higher side cost wise, the food was faultless. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, the staff were pleasant and attentive, so much so we went back for lunch the next day. The "wedge" is an interesting answer to the question "How do you sell people 1/8th of an iceberg lettuce" , and to be honest, it's genius. The onion loaf was, fantastic, and the vegetable medly certainly played exactly the right tune on the taste buds. If up this way again, this will be the first choice.”

“We visited Roxy on a quiet Tuesday night. We booked on for crazy pool and the staff member said we could do as many rounds as we pleased. There was only one other couple up there. We loved the crazy pool course and had a couple rounds. We even ended up staying to do ice-free curling. Again there was no time limit and we got to make full use of the space. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is both the crazy pool and ice-free curling was up a long set of stairs. Hopefully there is a lift for people who need it as the toilets were also up here.”

“I used to have an Unlimited card at Cineworld before COVID as I hadn't discovered this cinema by then. I went to the Light for the 1st time around 2 years ago, and have never looked back since. I love the vibe - can chill in the relaxing bar area, and get a pizza for tea (2 for £15 on a Tuesday too!) and have a couple of beers. Occasionally I'll get nachos too as a treat. In May, I upgraded to the Premiere card here and every visit has been absolutely spot on! My only comment would be better visibility of mystery screenings - I used to do them at Cineworld and had no idea until today that there's a mystery screening in a couple of days. Would definitely love to do one in the future. Looking forward to the next visit!”

“Personal favourite! Always a delight to visit any of their branches. Reasonably priced coffees and plenty of seasonal deals and loyalty bonuses if you sign up to their mailing list. Food is excellent everytime I've been and the staff are super helpful and friendly no matter how busy it is! Seating areas are really cool (especially the booths at fit Fitzalan Square) and there's board games to play! No better place for a coffee in Sheffield! Looking forward to trying their new Leeds branch, but I know it will be fantastic!”

“Amazing shop down Eccy Rd, owner is friendly every time I visit. Enough selection for all your necessities and open very late (or 24/7 I’m not sure?). Was out at 2am on Monday morning after a busy day, didn’t expect anything to be open and really appreciated the late service.”

The food was delicious and great to try something different to other Indian restaurants. “This is my "go to" Costa. The staff here are fantastic. Everyone is so friendly here and welcoming. This branch doesn't run out of certain food items as much as others do. The coffee also seems to taste nicer here than other Costa branches nearby”

“We hired Boom Battle Bar in Sheffield for our staff Christmas Party last Friday (28th Nov) and all 50 of us had a great time. The staff were fun and friendly and even though they were a team member down in the kitchen they still served our food as planned which was very nice. Thank you for having us!”

“So for years I’ve been recommending this place as a ‘go to’ for pretty much everything… a relaxed evening with some cocktails on the terrace, light lunch through the day or a meal in the evening for occasions- anyone visiting Sheffield I’ve always recommended this place. It had been a while since I last visited myself, but the other day me and a friend came in for lunch. We’d seen the promotion giving the option of 2 or 3 courses for a set price on a Wednesday. Wow… The hanging kebabs were included (pleasantly surprised), and the quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. So much flavour! The interior in this place is always bright and feels well looked after. Staff were super attentive and approachable, drinks were (and still are) good quality- not like a lot of the cheap sugary cocktails in other local bars. This place truly never disappoints. I’m so glad I can confidently say it’s a consistently LOVELY place to go in Sheffield.”

“This was a superb bar for drinking, with a calm and welcoming decor! This is contributed to from the mock leaves and the lights, counter is nicely presented too. I had a quality pint of Wingman on the discount deal after 6pm, seating is comfortable at leather and very clean too!”

“Poor availability on all bottle water . Asked when stock would be available . Staff member went to check . Mananger came and explained that its not coming in at the min .Hopefully some should be in on the next delivery which should be Friday however due to driver issues it might come Saturday instead .Asked if I wanted to leave my number or to call the store Saturday morning and we will check .They are always helpful and nothing is ever to much trouble . Very friendly store.”

“my partner and i had a one off free few hours from the child, and we had completed a big job throughout the day so we wanted to enjoy our tea and have something different. the food was beaut, the timings were spot on, the service was great, all the girls and guys working there were friendly and smiley and looked like they enjoyed their job. i believe someone beside us must have been a little tipsy and had been sick. The man who looked like the duty manager on shift dealt with this perfectly and discreetly, hats off to them, brilliant example. well done team, we will visit again, the attentiveness of our server was Shanika, such a smiley young lass, very good at her job”

“Always have a lot of fun here! Definitely the best karaoke service in Sheffield, and it doesn't hurt that the staff are really accommodating and friendly. The price is totally affordable and the equipment is great However, if I could make one change I'd update the song list. Me and my friends always come here because Kmax has the best service but it would be really nice if they updated their song list for both English and Korean songs. Thanks :)”

“I recently arranged a work Christmas meal for a large group of staff, and the entire experience was exceptional. The meal was absolutely stunning, and the service was flawless. Every member of the team was polite, courteous and professional throughout. A special thanks to Sam, the General Manager, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I’d also like to highlight the brilliant idea of using place cards with names and personal menu choices — this made the delivery of each dish incredibly efficient.
