“Magic Merlin was brilliant at our recent Circus Fun Day at school. His communication with me from the start was excellent, he arrived promptly on the day and was very organised. He was friendly and incredibly flexible- he just went with the flow and offered to stay longer too. The children (and staff/parent helpers) absolutely loved the magic show and his circus skills went down really well with the kids too. I would highly recommend Magic Merlin- he really helped to make our circus fun day extra special.”

“Absolutely fantastic spot to have some brunch in Buxton, right on the high street. The food was outstanding and served quickly. I had a vegan samosa chaat which was delicious and they had a range of vegan/ gluten free foods. All very affordable with a decent portion size. Beautiful Indian street food done well. It was also busy, on a Monday, which tells me it’s a popular local spot. Tables were full and reserved. I’d highly recommend this if you’re visiting Buxton.”

“Did Afterlife and Hugh Dunnit escape room today, both were great fun but Afterlife had a better theme and more interesting puzzels.”

“This was my first escape room and it did not disappoint. Jasmine and Charlie were amazing! They gave just the right amount of time and even gave us an extra 5 minutes (we got there eventually ... Kind of). Could not recommend it enough. It was such a fun way to celebrate a friend's birthday. We will 100% be coming back. Thankyou!!!”

“Great theatre , not seen a bad production here and Saturday nights performance of A Christmas Carol was fantastic. All actors were brilliant, led by a great Mr Scrooge . The children were excellent too. We enjoyed the singing incorporated in the play , a real festive night to begin Christmas 2025 !”

“First time visiting this establishment, whilst on the higher side cost wise, the food was faultless. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, the staff were pleasant and attentive, so much so we went back for lunch the next day. The "wedge" is an interesting answer to the question "How do you sell people 1/8th of an iceberg lettuce" , and to be honest, it's genius. The onion loaf was, fantastic, and the vegetable medly certainly played exactly the right tune on the taste buds. If up this way again, this will be the first choice.”

“I used WH Properties for 4 years while at university. They were always very prompt at addressing any maintenance issues, we loved the properties, and were very happy with them overall!”

“We visited Roxy on a quiet Tuesday night. We booked on for crazy pool and the staff member said we could do as many rounds as we pleased. There was only one other couple up there. We loved the crazy pool course and had a couple rounds. We even ended up staying to do ice-free curling. Again there was no time limit and we got to make full use of the space. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is both the crazy pool and ice-free curling was up a long set of stairs. Hopefully there is a lift for people who need it as the toilets were also up here.”

“I used to have an Unlimited card at Cineworld before COVID as I hadn't discovered this cinema by then. I went to the Light for the 1st time around 2 years ago, and have never looked back since. I love the vibe - can chill in the relaxing bar area, and get a pizza for tea (2 for £15 on a Tuesday too!) and have a couple of beers. Occasionally I'll get nachos too as a treat. In May, I upgraded to the Premiere card here and every visit has been absolutely spot on! My only comment would be better visibility of mystery screenings - I used to do them at Cineworld and had no idea until today that there's a mystery screening in a couple of days. Would definitely love to do one in the future. Looking forward to the next visit!”

“Awesome view of the sunset when it’s a clear sky. You get an uninterrupted view of the city skyline. It’s a good spot to chill and relax especially when they have their out door cinema up and running. It’s also right next to the train station so you could get a train or train right up to to it.”

“Been to the venue twice for an awards evening. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food was good and portions were adequate. Plenty of choice at the bar. Easy to find and plenty of Onsite parking.”

“I love this play centre. We often visit for play or classes, kids love it, lots of areas to play and the staff are always helpful. We recently visited for my son's 3rd birthday, we chose the early bird option and it was such good value, the kids had a great time. I would definitely recommend a party and play here.”

“The Christmas Tree Festival was an added bonus to our visit. What a beautiful building. The 1554 Coffee Shop was lovely too with very welcoming staff. Highly recommend the amazing warm cheese scones.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The milkshakes were fresh and cold and delicious. The popcorn could have been better. It was quite expensive for food and drinks but good quality for money. The seats were a bit sung but comfy. Overall one of the best cinemas I've been to. The atmosphere was quiet but comfy.”

“Busy bees @ Rotherham are absolutely amazing! My little boy Tommy has been at busy bees since was 1 years old and he has loved every day. A big massive shout out to Sarah, Charlotte and Jodie without these ladies in his life he wouldn't be the person he is today! He is going to miss them so much when he leaves in September to start School.”

“Brilliant kayaking party for our son's 10th birthday. Will, the instructor, was absolutely lovely - warm, caring and full of fun. All the children had a fabulous time and we'll definitely be back.”

“We hired Boom Battle Bar in Sheffield for our staff Christmas Party last Friday (28th Nov) and all 50 of us had a great time. The staff were fun and friendly and even though they were a team member down in the kitchen they still served our food as planned which was very nice. Thank you for having us!”

“We had such a great day here! tons of exciting slides as well as a fun obstacle course. What really made it special was the paddle boarding! Right next to the water park where you can rent paddle boards. It was the perfect way to wind down after all the water park excitement. The water was calm, the scenery was peaceful, and it was such a fun activity for both beginners and more experienced paddlers. Only “downside” is if you don’t have a car it’s a 40 minute walk from the nearest bus stop but if you enjoy walking it should be no problem! It’s rare to find a place that combines both high-energy water park fun with something more relaxing like paddle boarding — we loved both and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a full day of water activities!”

“This was a superb bar for drinking, with a calm and welcoming decor! This is contributed to from the mock leaves and the lights, counter is nicely presented too. I had a quality pint of Wingman on the discount deal after 6pm, seating is comfortable at leather and very clean too!”

“Had our little boys birthday here and would highly recommend, especially if your party isn’t too large. We had around 20 kids and that was just about right. Exclusive hire, excellent staff who were attentive, polite and genuinely seemed to do everything to make sure we enjoyed our day. Understanding of our autistic boys need too which was a massive plus. Really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be there again in the future. Wonderful.”

“Brilliant! I got my car MOT'd, clutch fitted, full service and brakes done in record time and for a very reasonable price. They fitted me in quickly too. “Great arena, I saw Lewis Capaldi here yesterday and was on the lower tier in one of the back corners but still had a really great view. The fact that it is one of the smaller arenas goes in its favour for the views actually. The bars were well stocked and there were plenty of staff to serve. It was clean and modern inside and overall a good experience. The only downside was that one or two of the showsec staff were winging it with the information they gave to people regarding where to queue etc but that did not detract from the experience. Parking is expensive here though so I didn't use the arena car park.”

“I went there initially today to buy some pedals for a bike, then I could not get my car boot open. One person helped me open my boot for free and then another put pedals on the bike for free. I thought it was very good of them, Thank you very much to both of you. i really appreciate it.”
