“Love this place, ladies are always accommodating. I’m very impulsive and walk in and they always manage to squeeze me in for a wash and blow, or a wash and plait. Even if they are busy! Always offered a brew, or a drink from local shop. I can walk in foxy cuts feeling low in mood and walk out laughing and smiling! Not just a great place for hair, but a place for mood lifting! Bonus point from me is that they let my support dog in. Lady’s cut all my family of 4. Would recommend!!”

“This is a fantastic hidden gem. It has a elsan point and fresh water points. We have always booked sites with electric and premier pitches so this was out of our comfort zone as its a basic site but goodness me. It's turned out to be be our favorite site. We came to an 80s weekend in July and are now attending the Oktoberfest event this weekend. Breakfast, tea and cake and dinner cobs are on offer throughout the weekend. The owners are so obliging and friendly, Make time for the campers, put games and make it a really fun weekend. Would highly recommend this site.”

“The booking system is great, as you can arrive and straightway have your haircut! I arrived and Sarah opened the door for me. A really nice room. She gave me a special, new mask for hairdressing. I showed her a photo of the style I'd like, she looked at it in detail and did the same to my hair. It's the most relaxed & least stressful trip to a barber I've had in my life, and that's particularly impressive given the lockdown/coronavirus conditions that we're in. “Darwin forest lodges is a brilliant self catering lodges. The Lodge had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean. They is a swimming pool, soft play area. Golf, spa, pool table, restaurant. The staff are very friendly and if you need help with anything they well help you. They is some lovely walks which is easy for small children. I would very highly recommend it.”
