“Simply incredible. I've been to many Japanese restaurants, but this small, cozy place has undoubtedly become my favorite. The food quality is outstanding. Everything is freshly prepared with great care. You can truly feel that each dish is made with love and a deep respect for Japanese tradition. The fish is fresh, the flavours are balanced, and the variety is impressive, especially for such an intimate restaurant. The space is calm, clean, and thoughtfully organised. It’s run by a lovely couple who are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. Their hospitality and attention to detail really stand out. My partner and I ordered the summer roll, salmon hoso maki, black tiger roll maki (my partner’s favorite), Philadelphia roll (my favorite), tuna and salmon sashimi. The prices are fair and more than worth it for the quality you receive. It’s the kind of hidden gem you stumble upon and immediately want to share with everyone. More people need to discover and try this place. ❤️”

“Our first time visiting fusion noodle. The restaurant was really neat, clean and welcoming. The menu had a lovely range of food. We chose noodle dishes with three other dishes that we shared. The food was delicious. Service was great and the food arrived hot and we didn’t wait long for it. The BBQ ribs blew all the ribs I’ve had before out of the water, seriously great. This is the meal I will remember for a long time, I can’t wait to go back.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Botley Mill! The food was a solid 10/10 – beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout, but what really made the evening extra special was the personal touch. When we arrived, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a card signed by the team congratulating us on our one year wedding anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us. Thank you for making our night so memorable, we’ll definitely be returning! They were so accommodating of the fact im in a wheelchair; the restaurant is accessible (however the bathrooms are a little trickier! Thankfully I can walk a little though so it was no issue) My first impression was how homely and welcoming the place was. Then I noticed the cleanliness! Everything was immaculate and looked brand new! We were greeted in and welcomed warmly. The ambience was perfect and the background music was beautiful. Each course came out and was absolutely superb. The starters were actually some of the best food I've ever eaten - we had scallops, duck mousse and the snails - all perfectly cooked and seasoned with the perfect accompaniments. As we sat, enjoying our meal, the restaurant busied and the staff gave the same amount of warmth and service to everyone - greeting many customers like old friends (we assume this means they get a lot of repeat customers!) My husband ordered the cheese board and we were delighted when an entire platter, with an array of cheese was brought out. The waiter asked my husband his taste in cheese and then proceeded to recommend cheeses he thought would be right. He went through the board with such knowledge of the various cheeses and was spot on with every single one he suggested: my husband loved them all! The bathrooms were the cleanest public bathrooms I've ever been in! And this is gonna sound absolutely crazy but it's the first toilet I've ever been to that has really decent toilet roll!! I've stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and never rate the toilet roll but for some of us, well, it's important OK!! There was no pretentiousness and people were dressed in an array of clothing - from smart casual, to a little dressier; so you only need dress up if you feel you want to (we did!) The bill, although a little eye watering, was worth the price completely. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions sizes were more generous than we had expected and we left after 3 courses from their set menu feeling full and very happy! We will 100% be back and highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys fine dining, in comfortable surroundings with all the warmth and personality that you'd expect from an independent family run business.”

“We go there every week, I've celebrated birthdays there, it's always wonderful! Wonderful attention, wonderful food and quality / price! Have you tried their ramen? It's just amazing too. There's only one thing I never get to know, and that's the recipe for hot barbecue sauce, heck guys! I would die for that hot sauce!! We will be back soon! By the way, if you want to try something different and originally from Korea... Try the plum Soju + asahi beer, ask the employees how to prepare it, are you ready for something so delicious?”

“Great take away experience We decided to try food from here and had a lovely range of treats. We went for some humus, falafel, spicy sausages and the sharing mixed grill meze, with plenty of bread included. The food was very well packed and tasted very fresh and flavoursome. The falafel were rather large and a little dry but overall everything was delicious. Lots of food, with a 20% discount bonus for take away service. “Although Winchester does have a number of pizza restaurants already, The Pizza Tavern is a great new addition. As it's not a big chain, you're getting great quality pizzas and supporting a local independent business. My pizza was delicious, and I thought it was very fairly priced for the quality. The service was friendly and efficient, and I liked the rustic setup in the restaurant. It's not somewhere I feel you would go for an 'evening out' as when I visited, there were not any starters or desserts offered, but it is great for a quick meal if you're out and about or at the start of an evening out. I will definitely be back.”

“Very cosy restaurant, headed by an established and talented Italian chef. The pizzas are lovely, the staff are friendly, and the portion sizes are generous. You can tell they take pride in cleanliness and presentation right from the moment you step inside, and the level of custom shows that people really enjoy this place. It is regularly completely full with diners. My only criticism is it can get rather hot in here, to the point where it can get a little uncomfortable, especially as the place gets busy.”
