They were always cheerful and dealt pragmatically with issues and problems as they arose - and without making a drama out of a crisis. Although it was out of warranty, Steve went around immediately to assess the problem, and Chelle called us to discuss repair options. No callout charge, no passing the buck because it wasn't in warranty. Highly recommended.”

“My washing machine stopped working just before New Year. I rang Spectrum as I'd had them out before when it was Fenton Domestics. They came out the same morning. £35 call out fee. The power pack had gone. It was a Hotpoint washer. I'd had it for 15 years so it had lasted well. Made in Great Britain (on the front). So I wanted a similar model by Hotpoint. I rang Spectrum and they said they had them in. They sent a photo of a similar machine to my old one. Made in the UK. I went to the Spectrum shop that afternoon and had a look. The staff were very helpful and I decided to have the Hotpoint model. They said they could deliver and fit it that afternoon. Only £25 to fit it and take the old one away So they came soon after I arrived home. The two men fitted it very quickly (just waiting while I cleaned the floor). I'm really happy with my new washing machine! The service was excellent and I can definitely recommend Spectrum.”

“Had my kitchen design done by Beth from the Cobridge branch. She came to our house, measured up, took into account everything we would need and how everything would best suit us,gave advice on design and colours etc. After a few days, went into store and she had created an image for us which was great to see as it gave us a good visual idea of how it would look. Just waiting for delivery but so far so good..reasonable price too in the sale”

“I bought two Vestel digital signage monitors from this company and had a fault with one of the monitors. They tried to fix in-house on two occasions, but weren't successful. They offered me a refund on one or both items. I can't fault them, and this is exactly how customer service should be. Thanks”

“Fabulous service from Shaun at B&Q Meir on 14th August 3025 who helped cut some wood to the size so I could put shelves in my small shed. He was most helpful and polite and I came home and fitted them perfectly. I didn’t have the right equipment at home to cut the wood myself so appreciated the help. Many thanks again Shaun”

“After being left hanging at Longton Argos who clearly just didn't want to help, we drove to Stoke Sainsburys Argos. A man named Chris spoke to us, gave us advice on how to get an online purchase, then attempted to order our item for us in store. He arranged for the item to be delivered to my house saving me the hassle of trying to do online stuff. Very grateful to him, I believe he went above and beyond! He certainly didnt reflect his Grumpy Elf tshirt! Longton staff, shame on you.”

“Went to the store yesterday with an issue and lady at the till was very polite and helpful she was breath of fresh air. The lady at the till had to go speak to the manager (Anna) with my case and the pair went extra mile and was very pleased with the service I received. Keep up the good work ladies and you are true asset to Argos. Its a shame I can not remember the ladies name at payment counter. Visited the store about 5pm if it helps.”
