“We have been coming to Costa for many years. The best part isn’t really the coffee, it’s the staff. These are some of the nicest people you will ever meet; being super kind and friendly, and making some of the best drinks you will ever drink. They are the reason that Costa tastes better, because it’s the dedication and love into coffee making that’s the secret ingredient to a better drink. Sadly, the ‘chain’ itself, or its higher management so to speak, has made decisions in recency that leave you feeling a bit cheaped out on. Over the years we have noticed steady price increases (even befor the cost of living and inflation). While there is something to be said about struggling business these days, Costa is by no means small and they are owned by Coca-Cola. They are not struggling for money. Furthermore, shortly after a recent price hike for all of the food at Costa, Costa started taking out sausages from their Sausage baps to go from 4 to 3. They then made them smaller only a few months later. This is a blatant cash grab and a cheap out from Costas executives and it is especially upsetting given there was no price reduction to make up for it. We recently also found out that these same executives are now not allowing stores to sell their leftover pastries at 50% off in order to clear them out, but rather throw them away if they aren’t sold at full price. This is a total waste and is a shame since these pastries can be quite expensive and they still get money with a sale rather than the bin. No blame can be put on their staff, they are doing their best and put effort into making the experience as good as it can be, but the higher management at Costa are only looking for a higher profit line, and it shows.”
“We have been here a couple of times now and find the staff extremely courteous, excellent service with the added extra of superb home made food. Very reasonable…inexpensive (not cheap!). Just keep it secret!”
“My first visit in there on the weekend and the 2 ladies were really lovely! They even took the time to amend my account because my partner didn't specify he had his own cup which meant a free bean on the app. Was a pleasure to be served by them both.”
“Since we moved to the kidsgrove area, been the best takeaway. Their food and especially customer service is a 11/10. Their 2 12” pizza deal is amazing paired with the chili cheese bites (my favourite). Don’t need another takeaway when they’re around.”
“Perfect Place to Order chicken Fajita.. Loved the Pizza. And staff is very friendly. Would recommend. Its been always my goto from last 6 months. Best service and pizza”
“Pizza Line in Leek has become our family's go-to takeaway spot over the years, and for good reason. The food keeps getting better with each visit, leaving us consistently impressed. Their pizzas are simply divine, bursting with flavor and always satisfying our cravings. Having explored most of their menu with my family, I can confidently say there's not a single dish we've tried that disappoints. From classic favorites to inventive creations, Pizza Line delivers on taste every time. While it's true that prices have seen an increase over the past couple of years, it's a trend mirrored across the industry. However, what sets Pizza Line apart is their loyalty program. By simply ordering online for delivery or collection, you accumulate points that can eventually lead to free meals. It's a small gesture that goes a long way, especially during times of financial strain like the current cost of living crisis. Tonight, thanks to their loyalty program, our takeaway was on the house. It's moments like these that remind us of the generosity and thoughtfulness of the Pizza Line team. To the folks at Pizza Line, a heartfelt cheers from our family. You've not only provided us with delicious food but also a sense of community and support. We'll definitely be back for more.”
