“Went for the first time this week and I've been looking for a good Indian restaurant for a while. I'm veggie, so tried the Paneer Makhani and it was delicious. Unlike other places I've been, this one had plenty of paneer, it was amazing. I had gone to another place and it barely had five cubes, it was ridiculous. I'll definitely return here and I'll order from here, too, in future. Staff were super lovely, too.”

“We went for the bottomless brunch today…. Oh my world…. absolutely amazing! Food, drinks and service were absolutely incredible! I hope you will keep this on offer going forward. The waiter was super attentive and kept the drinks flowing. The food was absolutely incredible. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!”

“We visited after spending the afternoon with the grandchildren at the Pantomine. The meal was from the lunch menu as we were too early for the evening menue. However there was loads to choose from and portions were very big. Presentation was lovely and the service by the waitress GABBIE was five star!! Very polite and attentive. We will definitely be visiting again.”

“We ordered meat and vegetable thali and it was yummy. The amount of food is big enough for two meals each... my veggie thali included tarka dhal, bombay potatoes and veggie curry plus rice with vegetables. We order from regularly and it's always delicious. And for all of that we paid £18...”

“We had a lovely evening. The food was very nice, good quality and reasonably price. There was cobra on tap, which is always a plus for me. The service was quick and there was a friendly atmosphere. It's quite a large restaurant and they also do takeout. I will definitely be going again.”

“Have only used the Laurel Inn for takeaway, but their food is always very well flavoured and not at all greasy, which some Chinese takeaways can suffer from. Usually phone ahead and place the order, and it's never failed to be ready on time.”

“Came here first night in Buxton after being refused at two other restaurants that did not take cards the staff are very nice polite and helpful the prices are reasonable the portions are good and to top it of most importantly the food was tasty”

“Ordered from here for collection! Everything spot on, food was good and hot. My only gripe with ordering pizza is I feel lime you need a degree to order it without wasting cash! I had to process the order 3 / 4 times to mess with options to get the same food, peices ranged from £57 to £46 so worth the hassle but shouldn't be this hard! Not to take away from this store though, as that's more a group / pizza issue that needs fixing.”

“Lovely restaurant. We weren't sure what to do and a friendly member of staff said find a table , so you have the number and order at the till. We did this , a much better idea than people queuing at the counters and foid going cold. The drinks were brought to us 1st and not long after the food, 1 had a sausage roll and food garnish, I had a quiche and salad garnish, both were really nice. The girl on the till who took my order was very friendly and the same with the lad who brought the food. Such a lovely place”

“Stayed here last weekend in a family room. 2 adults 2 children. Had booked another hotel up the road that turned out to be a nightmare. Arrived at the hotel, plenty of room to park, yes it is on street but lots of space. Door was closed when we arrived didn't find this a problem, lady who was working reception answered really quickly and welcomed us in. Check in was smooth and easy. The receptionist was amazing, made us feel at home. (Wish I knew her name but she has red hair) hotel felt really secure, door closed most of the time to stop just anyone walking in off the street. The stair way upto room was very clean, there is a patch of damage to the decor on the way up but really not a problem and probably to be expected in a building of such age. Landing corridor to room all really beautiful with some lots of character, (chandelier, balcony) room was really nice, so clean so big for a family of 4. No issue in room with any facilities or cleanliness. Staff happy to help and really couldn't be nicer. Location is brilliant too, nice restaurant across the road, local shops near by and water park and money forest just a few mins away. Overall had a really nice time staying here and would definitely stay again. Thank you”

“Wasn't 100% about this place at first as they aren't usual great but got to give the food/drinks/staff a massive 10/10 bev or beth was absolutely an amazing waitress her and another staff member sang/danced happy birthday to our son. Double cheeseburger and chips was £19 although very expensive it was very, very nice under 4s eat free and got a free pudding for his birthday. The tiny tots derserts are very large for under 10s so don't think you need to buy the bigger ones. It was very quiet during our visit. but I can see standards dropping during busy periods.”
