“Quaint , hidden gem of Sandbach. First time here today. Polite and friendly service. Dogs were welcomed, which is nice to see. The food was cooked fresh to order. It was well worth the wait. I can highly recommend the mega burger! Delicious. Excellent choice of food and a great drinks menu”
“We had our first visit to Café on the Square yesterday as saw that they were dog friendly. Upon walking in we asked for a table and were immediately accommodated, we chose to sit outside in the spring sunshine which was lovely. The service was impeccable and the food was beautiful, we had club sandwiches and homemade cake to follow with tea and coffee. The tea was also loose leaf and came in a lovely filter pot. Will definitely be visiting again to work our way through the rest of the menu!”
“A great cocktail bar in Nantwich. It is very well decorated and the service is very friendly and welcoming. Tons of cocktails to choose from, all of a high quality!”
“Lovely biker cafe. Had the full English for £11. Not greasy at all and food was delicious. Definitely be adding to my ride out locations”
“A beautiful little Place right in the heart of Leek. Easy booking and check in process. We was given codes for entry/access to our accommodation when tea rooms are closed. Plenty of parking locally, reasonably cheap and free after 15.30 on Saturday and free all day Sunday. We found our room very clean and was provided everything for a lovely stay. Bed was comfortable, towels good quality and complimentary showering miniatures. Only slight issue was the TV signal wasn't great, channels not watchable but not a big issue. Staff were all helpful and welcoming in the cosy tea room. We ordered breakfast which was very nice and was pleasantly surprised when told it was in with the cost of the room as we was unaware, nice bonus. Overall we had a lovely pleasant stay and will definitely return. We have since found out they have dog friendly rooms so will be back with our little one.”
“I’ve been wanting to stay at the Enchanted Village Treehouses at Alton Towers since they’ve opened, and as it was a friends birthday, 8 of us pooled together to stay in one during Oktoberfest during September 2023. I’m not going to soften the blow – this is one of, if not the most expensive accommodations on-site at Alton Towers, but was the price-tag worth it? I think it was! First off, once booked, we received all the normal confirmations as you would expect. What was nice however is we received a phone call a few days before we checked in from a very friendly woman, who explained everything we would want to know about our stay. It was a very nice personalised touch, and got us excited for the trip. Upon arrival, you get 2 reserved parking spaces at the Alton Towers Hotel which we took advantage of. As check in was at 2pm, we headed into Alton Towers in the morning and then headed back to check in. There is a specific Enchanted Village Treehouses check in area in the Alton Towers hotel, where you’re met by a member of the team who give you all the details you’ll need, keys and tell you how to get to your lodge. Once the paperwork was done, we headed to the lodge. The Enchanted Village area is car free, so we grabbed our bags and headed to the lodge. The host who checked us in stopped by to show us how everything worked, and again, this very personal touch was greatly appreciated and did elevate the experience somewhat. Upon entry, the Treehouse was impressive, with massive high ceilings and big windows overlooking the forest. There were lots of little details throughout the lodge such as little ‘fairy doors’, books for children, mugs with hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as an XBOX with games. As it was our friend’s birthday, they organised a really lovely treats hamper, including sweets, popcorn, some Wickerman goodies and a bottle of Prosecco – it was a really lovely surprise and one he hugely appreciated. The highlight however was the hot tub on the terrace overlooking the forest – it was fabulous and, in my opinion, made the price tag of the Treehouse worthwhile. There was something quite special being sat in your lovely warm hot tub sipping some bubbles overlooking the forest. The bedrooms were fairly small, but as we were staying just the one night, we didn’t spend a huge amount of time in them. As part of the package, we also got 4 Fastrack passes per person for The Smiler, Spinball Whizzer, Runaway Minetrain and Wicker Man. These do change throughout the year so the rides may be different, but this was a great bonus as it was a busy Saturday on the park. As part of the package we got breakfast in the Crooked Spoon. I’ve left a separate review of my experience at The Crooked Spoon as this was very disappointing, and did leave a sour note on the end of stay – but I feel that the Treehouse itself shouldn’t be penalised for the poor experience there. Overall, as a treat for a special occasion, the Enchanted Village Treehouses are worth it. The service, perks and location really do make a difference – and the wonderful hot tub is the cherry on the cake.”
“I Recently face painted an event here, parked in the potteries. It was a great community event and the park itself is good area with something for all the family.”
“we love this cafe, our family comes here every year in the autumn”
“Very friendly staff were very helpful with my allergies. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and delicious food. Good range on the menu too.”
“Visited here on my to see family. A lovely Costa staff are friendly very clean and great coffee. Would definitely recommend a visit.”
“A very welcoming, dog friendly Hotel. Helpful reception and friendly service. We stayed bed and breakfast, over the Christmas period. A most pleasant room with a comfortable bed. A great breakfast. Thank you.”
“Really nice soft play, my son had a great time. But special mention to the two women who were working when we visited - my son has a peanut allergy (which can make it really tricky to eat when we're out, and I can feel quite anxious). The manager got me the food packages so that I could check the ingredients and made me feel so at ease. The other woman working made me feel so much better when I was apologising for being a pain. I felt really understood and comfortable. They were just great. Thank you!”
“Great food and staff. I had poached eggs on black pudding on an English muffin. Can't stop thinking about it!”
“Brilliant service from the tall fellow in here. Very friendly, and helpful. Can’t praise this place highly enough.”
“First time visitors… fabulous food, terrific atmosphere and Nina’s table service and general hospitality was top-drawer ❤️”
“Having played here multiple times in the past, at least 20 and always enjoyed it. I’ve not played at Malkins Bank Golf Course for about four years until today. I knew by the website that there were new owners and they understood the trial ahead of them to get this once great course back to its best. The new style club house is superb. More modern, welcoming and solid range of food and drink. Driving range is closed due H&S reasons, but not current owners fault. The course is still great to play. Undulating, narrow in places, risk and reward, and fun packed holes. Yes, the fairways and greens need work, but once again I knew this from the website and still thought £25 was a good price for the round. A good green keeper will need at least 12 - 18 months to work the magic, but it will be worth it. Today was the most fun I’ve had playing golf in a long time. Thank you.”
“Reasonable priced decaff coffee and vegan cake. There's milk alternative available, oat, coconut and soya for anyone who's vegan or lactose intolerant. The staff are friendly and welcoming all in all a nice place to visit and cheaper than some highstreet coffee shops.”
“The pub is in Biddulph not Stoke on Trent. ¹Not the most interesting of buildings. But they cannot all be interesting. Those that are special are worth the visit, just to enjoy the building. .. Llandudno, Penrith, Whitby, for example. But not this one. Architecturally all it has going for it is a downstairs toilet. So settle for the food, which was fine, and the range of cheap beers. The service was excellent. Not busy but still noisy...intrusively so. One or two loud individuals....possibly too much cheap beer. Will not rush back. There are better Wetherspoons just as local. Parking is possible, if you are lucky on side streets, but limited to either 1 hour or 30minutes.”
“The food is very tasty with it being hot and priced reasonably. The staff are friendly and helpful with making food choices.”
“10/10 chips perfectly fried. Pizzas were amazing dough was lovely and fresh. Spicy donner was great. The naans were perfectly charred. Overall great menu ant options to choose from. Delivery came on time.”
“My friend & I were served by the most kindest lady’s in the galaxy :) (we ordered a PSL frap & a black americano w/2 pumps SF vanilla syrup) one of the lady’s is called Macie, who offered to tidy our table on her break! & unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the other lady who took our order :( but you were both so kind (thank you Macie for the freebies they’re so yum) we hope you both enjoyed the rest of your day ”
“Warm, very clean and tidy, great for a bit of seclusion from the busy parts of the area close enough to all local events and points of interest”

“The owner let me park in his farmyard while I fished the canal. A very pleasant and friendly gentleman. A good experience.”
“Absolutely amazing little cottages in a beautiful location at Rudyard lake immaculately clean, owners very friendly 100% recommend”
“Tremendous! They take pride in their fresh preparation and it showed. Had the falafel wrap and the chicken wrap, both salad and sauce. Lots of subtle flavour. I also got an extra bread. The bread was perfectly doughy but not stodgy. You can always tell a good place by the effort they put into their chilli sauce. No mistake here, fresh and diced, like a salsa. I would go again but it's a long road from Glasgow.”
“Ordered some food for the family from Shawarma 360 and it arrived promptly. The delivery guy was very customer focused and said they had had a few supplier issues due to Eid. He said due to this there was a little less Schwarma supplied than he would have liked but he had included some courtesy extras and said if I was unhappy to call in and let him know so he could resolve. Well the food was amazing, we all enjoyed and I'm already looking forward to next time if portions are usually bigger as this was plenty. Hope the whole team had a great Eid celebration and I'll be ordering again soon.”
