“Just had a 1 night stay for our 40th wedding anniversary had our evening meal and I had a fillet steak it was beautiful, my husband had the lamb pie it was very tasty but a bit on then small size. The room was spotless and very spacious, breakfast was delicious, I will definitely visiting again. Thank you”

“Absolutely fantastic breakfast! I ordered a bacon, sausage and egg bap, a chicken and bacon sandwich, and a loaded breakfast oatcake — and every bite was delicious. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. Easily one of the best breakfast spots around — I’ll definitely be back!”

“Decided to book in for a Sunday lunch after reading some other reviews. Really happy that we did as we were served a great Sunday lunch. We all had starters, myself going for the mussels which didn't disappoint and were well presented and very tasty coupled with a nice portion size as were the other starters. We all went for the giant Yorkshire pudding which contains all other elements of this amazing lunch, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, roast and mashed potato and stuffing. The veg was cooked perfectly for us, still having that little bit of bite, nothing was overcooked and it was all piping hot and tasty. By far one of the nicest Sunday lunches that you would possibly compare to one of your own, but without the effort of cooking it yourself. We will be back for this again and to try out some of the other items on the menu.”

“I recently just moved to Crewe and have been meaning to try different fish and chips and came across this shop as it was closer of a walk than the ones in town. I think I came around their busiest time because there was a queue and they ran out of haddock. I ended up getting the large cod and chips as well as the mushy peas. The large cod was definitely a large (I could’ve opted for the mini portion) and they a generous amount of chips on the side as well. I enjoyed the fish and chips. They were both tasty considering I still had to walk back to my place to eat them. The fish itself was seasoned well even with just salt and vinegar. I surprisingly enjoyed the mushy peas (I asked for coleslaw initially which they do not carry). I can see why there’s a queue at night as it was delicious. I hope I get to try their haddock next time!”

“I had the 16-hour smoked ribs here, and what a delight! The meat was beautifully tender, with that deep smoky flavour that comes from real slow cooking. The char and bark held their own without overpowering the natural porkiness.”

“Amazing! We visited with our young client who is a wheelchair user and requires modified food. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so comfortable and welcome. Chef willingly blended food chosen off the menu, and present it beautifully , to allow our client to enjoy a proper meal. We will definitely be visiting for tea on a regular basis. Our meals were also delicious and all of the team were so cheerful and pleasant. Honestly we can not express our gratitude enough for inclusivity, tasty beautifully presented food and an over and above attitude from everyone.”

“Genuinely impressed! We chose this restaurant solely based on the authenticity of the menu online, and the “boast” of a long wine list. Oh, that wine list is fabulous! (But so was everything else!) “I came here to try out this place as it was on the newspaper and it was a big public chippy which was apparently one of the best, I travelled from quite far to try out the food here and I can truly say it didn't hit my expectations but it was still decent. It's a pretty good chippy even if it isn't the best one I've seen. I'd recommend this place on especially how hard working the staff are and how clean and spotless this place is! When you come here you can tell you're getting nothing but a high end quality product even if doesn't taste the best. The white interior design truly makes this chippy standout along with it having a seating area which most chippys don't have! Getting to see the person peeling the potatoes through a glass window is also very appealing.”
