“Really good experience thank yo”
“Very nice modern bistro with lovely welcoming staff, knowledgeable waiters and great food. Beef burger was amazing with a lovely dry aged taste and excellent beef patty. Nice quality bun. Overall very good meal for £17, a bit pricy but you taste the quality. Keen to return for the steak. Decent wine selection also.”
“Really good afternoon tea, we all enjoyed it so much, cakes are to die for and the sandwiches were fresh. Service was good as always. A really well run place.”
“Fantastic food and really lovely people who own the cafe.”
“I'm so happy I randomly walked into this gorgeous cafe and pottery painting place. Immediately greeted with a friendly chat with Laura over ordering my drink and food, I felt at ease. The sausage sandwich and iced coffee really hit the spot and the warm environment was the icing on the cake. You can tell this place is the hub of the community with people popping in and being greeted like friends. If you're thinking of going, just do it! Emma, you're doing a fabulous job.”
“A cute little gem of a cafe to bring a little something to the village! Visited earlier this week as I’ve seen it advertised and thought I’d give it a shot, and what a treat it was!! Loved the cosy vibes upon entry, very friendly staff and an array of food options so you can try something new! The ladies on duty were super friendly and accommodating and made you feel very welcomed. The food was served and tasted beautifully and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and will definitely be popping down again soon even if it’s a coffee to go!!”
“Interesting house. Nice gardens. Nice tea room. Good day out.”
“Stopped in on a whim with my husband today for lunch…from the moment we crossed the doorstep we felt welcome at Lychgate. We ordered the parsnip soup with brown bread and tea for two. The soup was amazing; a hint of ginger and the perfect consistency. Bread was also delicious…from a bakery in nearby Rudge. We took ginger and sticky apple toffee cake slices home for later…so glad we did! If you’re looking for a lovely dining experience or just a beverage, somewhere off the beaten path, this is the place for you. Easy to park near it, too! Enjoy! We will be back soon!”
“OJ fantastic service, wish all garages were as honest & helpful. Have been using OJ for quite a few years now and always happy with the service & price. Would definitely recommend.”
“Food was lovely and fresh as a daisy! Lovely breakfast, cheap. Lovely clean cafe and the girls were lovely, definitely need to try the Sunday dinners!”
“Have been here a few times for a decent sandwich at lunch time. Got a fresh counter to pick from, bread pudding, sausage rolls, cooked breakfasts, samosas, chilled soft drinks it’s got everything you need. The staff are beyond lovely here, all local and really make you feel like you’re popping to see a member of the family, it’s really nice. Place gets pretty busy fast and then goes quiet again, very unpredictable but worth the wait. On street parking is a nightmare at times, busy bit of road so be mindful of that.”
“The Platform is situated on the South Staffordshire Railway Walk. The walk itself is well worth a few hours in lovely countryside. The walk is tarmac surface most of the way. The Platform Cafe is situated by Womborne, nr Wolverhapton. The cafe is the converted Station. There is car parking available free of charge. The Platform has been lovingly restored and the cafe is well worth a visit. Good menu and selection of cakes. There is seating inside and out, dogs are welcome outside. The staff are really friendly and there is a great atmosphere in the cafe. Both the walk and cafe are definately worth visiting. We will return.”
“Been going to the village cafe for over 5yrs now regularly. Sometimes nearly every day of the week! Staff are friendly and chatty! Food always tastes great and is very reasonably priced! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!!”
“Just been here and got the belly buster! Absolutely beautiful! I’m fussy when it comes to sausages! But these were banging! Highly recommend”

“This place is great, I go for the Brook Breakfast. 2 Eggs done perfect, 2 bacon rashers, 2 tasty sausage, tomatoes and 2 large toasted and buttered pieces of tiger loaf. Whats not to like, food always hot, staff always friendly. Wide range of food on menu. Covid rules are strictly adhered to. P. S, Check out their cake selection. P. P. S Try the Pulled Pork Tiger loaf sandwich /13cm Bap (see pictures) Pulled Pork, Stuffing, Apple sauce and gravy UPDATE: Collected today an Afternoon Tea takeaway for 5 people. Totally fresh Sandwiches, Pork Pies, Sausage rolls, Quiche and much more. A variety of Sandwiches and Cakes. Great Value and Quality. See picture, shows all of quantity the cakes provided but only part of the savouries and sandwiches as we kept some in fridge until required. UPDATE: Christmas afternoon tea. 2022 Went for Christmas afternoon tea today. See photos. Missing from the pictures are the Scones Jam and Clotted cream, also a few more cakes which we consumed before photographing. I'm more of a food guy than photographer I'm afraid. Great price, friendly staff, meal comes with endless tea/coffee. What you can't eat will be boxed for you to take home.”
“Been visiting the Royal Oak for many years. Fabulous pub, great atmosphere and always make us feel welcome.”
“I stopped over for some food, and was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and authentic. The service was top class. There may be a bit of a wait but it's worth it as all good things need time to be made well. I recommend this either for proper food or for coffee.”
“Run by a lovely guy and the food is great. Always lovely and fresh. The crusty rolls are to die for!!”
“Lovely cafe in Willenhall town, popped in from the cold and have a cup of tea with my husband, we both had a homemade cupcake which were so tasty, very clean and friendly staff, will be back to try more off the menu soon.”
“Friendly lady on the desk . We have used this takeaway over 4 times and never had a problem. Consistently is always great and the food is always good, we struggle to find a decent Chinese takeaway local with good reviews but this is our go too when we fancy a Chinese. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work.”
“Now head and shoulders the best cafe in the area. The food is delicious and the place is spotlessly clean. I had been there before new management took over and sadly couldn't say that same thing about the place previously, so I went elsewhere for months. I'm so glad I noticed the change of hands as this place is more conveniently placed for me. If I have a complaint, it would be that the queue can sometimes be quite long at busy times as the word is spreading (food isn't cooked well in advance and left sitting around for hours like it so often is at these places to chuck food out quickly and get the money in, and it shows - you can taste the difference), but now I phone orders through beforehand if I'm in a real hurry so there's no problem. Either way, it's worth the wait unless you literally want to eat 'junk' food. There are no queues at bad cafes! Like any other decent eatery, if you want a bigger breakfast than the set ones on the menu, you don't go without your 8 (!!) pieces of meat and all the trimmings and moan about it... you just ask. Value for money genuinely isn't an issue here unless you're happy to eat poor quality ingredients. It's good to see so much effort being made to set up a new business and trying so hard to do things properly in challenging times.”
“The food and taste is delicious love the way the are making food and servicing in front of customer staff is also very good”
“What a great Venue. I visited here as a direct recommendation someone who had posted on line called Karen Jones who shared details about the friendliness of the venue, and that alone was enough to draw me in, but then i tried the food and was blown away. Doing the basics, really well is what it’s all about for me, with the use of High Quality, delicious ingredients. Such a great Vibe, with people and pets, children and adults being welcome. It’s great to see a venue function so well, with a great inviting atmosphere, non pretentious. So many venues these days make too many adjustments for the random occasional immunocompromised that places lose what it is to be a venue of great food, great company and great memories. I’ve found my new favorite place”
“Best Breakfast I've had in a while.”
“After we had a lovely walk around the arboretum went in to the cafe to meet up with some friends, clean and tidy atmosphere nice, we had a lovely piece of cake very tasty, what i could see the food looked appetising.”
“I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Lesley the assistant manager at Costa Reedswood Walsall, and I can confidently say her customer service is exceptional! From the moment she served me Leslie made me feel like more than just another customer. She took the time to listen to my preferences, engage in friendly conversation, and made me feel truly valued. It's clear that Leslie is passionate about her work, and her genuine care for each person that walks through the door shines through. She has a rare ability to make you feel like you're the most important person in the room, and that's a quality that’s hard to come by. Her warm, attentive, and personalized service is truly unmatched—she's a real asset to Costa. If you're lucky enough to be served by Leslie, you're in for a delightful experience!”
“Excellent experience! The food was delicious, especially the Seafood platter which easily satisfied two people. Plenty of seating options were available, and the parking space was ample. Highly recommended!”
“Popped into the cafe on the weekend for a sandwich and on the Sunday, we returned for another. My partner uses this cafe regularly but it’s now a 5 star and thumbs up from me too. The beautiful fire place made the visit just as lovely as the food. Staff were welcoming and polite too.”
“Had a lovely Halloween night watching a decent horror film it's so good to have something like this close by to do”
