In the past three months, I’ve dined at Alforno at least four times and I just can’t get enough of this place! The food is absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour every single time. The staff are always super happy, friendly, and welcoming, and the service is just incredible. The atmosphere and overall vibe is fantastic.
Such a nice restaurant, lovely ambience and vibe. Top notch service. Food was delicious too, the lamb shank was tender and fell off the bone, gravy was a little lightly taste not too overpowering, overall very good.
Very average food, only the potatoes and coffee were good, service was ok the gentleman was friendly but the lady was nice at the beginning then changed attitude later, maybe she gets tired from work, don’t think I’ll be back.
Al Forno is a pizzeria entirely run by Italians, both the owners and the chef. Honestly, it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the UK. All the ingredients are top quality and are sourced directly from Italy. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The restaurant opened 25 years ago, and since then, its loyal customers keep coming back to enjoy the delights of this Pizzeria/Restaurant. The atmosphere is almost like being with family, and the owners continue to work with the same passion as on the very first day. I absolutely recommend this place. I say this as an Italian.
We popped in on a busy night without a reservation and they worked hard to accomodate us. It was a music themed night with a swing singer - pretty good. Food was pretty average for a London italian, but it was priced reasonably. The waiting staff were attentive but lack of English meant communication was laboured. I would return if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
We had amazing dinner there tonight absolutely delicious with really generous portions and efficient service . The restaurant was already busy at 7.00pm on a Wednesday I think this shows how good the restaurant is. I'm delighted I have tried this restaurant and all because of their support of a takeaway stall outside that I went there.
Always the best experience at this Al Forno! My partner and I came here for the first time last year and we’ve been coming back ever since. The pizzas are amazing, drinks are delicious and the starters are fantastic!!! The customer service is always so good, the owner is so lovely!
The best meal out I had in a looong time. The chicken was cooked amazingly, the sauce was out of this world and the potatoes were unbelievable. The whole thing was just perfect. I'm very fussy with food, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations. Good job to the chef and the owners. I'll come back any chance I get. Thank you !
