I have been to many Franco Manca restaurants over the years and they have generally been reliable, good value, and well run. This London Bridge branch, unfortunately, was none of those things. We arrived at 4.45pm and were left sitting for around 15 minutes without being acknowledged, no drinks offer, no check-in, nothing. It was not particularly busy, so this felt less like pressure and more like being politely ignored. We eventually ordered at 5pm, with hungry children in tow, only for the food to arrive 35 minutes later. For pizza, in an almost empty restaurant, that is hard to justify. Drinks took about 10 minutes on top of that. Service throughout was slow and inattentive. No kids menus were offered, which feels like a basic miss when families are clearly dining early. The real low point was dessert. The children’s chocolate and vanilla gelato arrived as a melted, soupy mess, closer to a milkshake than ice cream. I actually saw the tub it was scooped from, it was already completely liquid. It should never have been served, yet it was brought over without hesitation. I have attached a photo because it genuinely defies explanation. We were short on time so did not complain, but we did leave baffled. To add to the general sense of chaos, they had no apple juice and no raspberry gelato at 4pm, a few days before Christmas. For a family-friendly pizza restaurant, that is pretty extraordinary. Overall, slow service, poor attention, and food quality that simply was not acceptable. A real shame, as Franco Manca is usually a safe bet. This visit was anything but.

Great service, friendly staff, and the pizza was excellent. I highly recommend it. We were served by Carmen.

As an italian I was actually surprised the pizza was good. They have different choices and even vegan, lactose free and gluten free options with a menu just for vegetarian and vegan only. Really recommend if you want to enjoy a good pizza and you have some healthy restrictions or particular preferences.

I visited the Franco Manca in Borough Market today with my family for lunch around 1pm. The food was great as always, but I wanted to share some honest feedback about the service experience. Our server was genuinely kind and polite, and you could clearly see she was doing her very best. However, it looked like she was responsible for too many tables β€” possibly even both upstairs and downstairs β€” and also had to prepare coffees herself. Because of this, the service ended up being very slow. We waited quite a long time to place our order, to have the table cleared, and the table next to us also waited around 15 minutes before anyone could take their order. I want to stress that this wasn’t the fault of the staff member serving us. She was running around non-stop and handled everything with a good attitude. The issue seemed to be understaffing or not enough support for the team, which made the service feel stretched and disorganised. I hope the management can review staffing levels, especially during busy times, because the team clearly needs more support. The experience would be much smoother for both customers and staff. Food was lovely as always β€” just a bit more help for the staff would make the experience perfect.

Always a great experience! We have eaten at London Bridge a few times and it never disappoints. Staff are fantastic, especially Clare who was great, a top tier friendly human with great service :). We had the ragu napoletano pizza and the tre porcellini. Both delicious. The burrata starter is a must have also :).

Started of with the sourdough bread followed by Organic tomato, mozzarella & basil Pizza. The sourdough bread was as good it can and be and same was the case with the Pizza. The chilli oil also had amazing flavour to it. Definitely one of the best Pizzas in London

Everything (atmosphere, food...) was nice except for the service. But I think this is only our table, somehow they took forever to get order, food, coffee, and bill. The tables near us were changing twice while we were sitting. Also, the one I got as a starter came after main (I think they forgot it) and they forgot the coffee that we had to re-ask for it. I think it was only for our table today so in general I would recommend but don't seat in the corner.

Delicious bites to start and great sourdough pizza. Comes out thin, delicious and crispy. We started with the burrata and garlic bread with light tomato base. Ordered the number 2 and 7 pizzas to share. Food comes out quickly. Service was great. Decent beer/wine/cocktail menu! Be sure to dip your crust in the olive oils on the table.

Great efficient service...pizza doughy but if you don't mind it's nice. Our pizzas were not very hot for some reason...my marinara was great...my partners he did like too much...

It’s always a winner for me, but this location has a lovely feel to it. Great service and very good value for money. Get the app too and get a free pizza after 6 times
