I’ve been coming to this restaurant in south-east London for a while now. It’s a true gem when it comes to food. It’s rare to find such authentic Italian cuisine, and our host Barbara was phenomenal. She explained the dishes impeccably and was always cheerful and proud of her Apulian heritage. We ordered some pasta and pizza with burrata. It’s not a polished or perfect place, but it’s the kind of place for people who truly appreciate food and love to have a laugh. The atmosphere feels like being at home with friends, and often, with music playing in the background, you can even make new friends. She also told us about events, quizzes, and live music. My friend and I will definitely be back!

Dined here with friends last month, just picked a random place and seeing the rating we had high expectations. Im a big fan of Italian restaurants, and London usually doesn’t disappoint, but this place was surprisingly disappointing. We ordered two pastas, two pizzas, some sides and tiramisu. My pasta, the pesto, was the most disappointing: Over cooked pasta, under seasoned pesto (I suppose pesto is an adventurous choice, but just thought a 4.8 Google rated Italian restaurant might deliver). Also want to add we took the waitress’ recommendations for food and wine, and yet every single thing we ordered turned out sub par including dessert and wine so not sure what we could’ve ordered better. The waitress was cheerful at first but made some tasteless jokes that we ignored. The only enjoyable parts were my friends’ company and the pianist that played a bit later in the evening. I’ve definitely had a much better experience with Italian food in many a restaurant in London, especially delicious pizzas for even lesser. Perhaps the good rating they have comes from their lunch deals? We went for a simple evening dinner in the weekend. I wouldn’t recommend visiting for beyond a glass of wine to enjoy the piano music!

Had the best time having lunch today! Couldn’t wait to get home to leave a review as it was so good! The lunch time menu is an absolute steal, highly recommend! The pasta was outstanding, I have never tasted a sauce so incredible in my life, and it was such a big portion! Also make sure you get the side of croquettes, they are so tasty and delicious can’t recommend them enough! After the incredible main a dessert could not be missed and the tiramisu was lovely! I like it when you get a hint of the booze and it definitely satisfied that need! Also the service was lovely, the host was delightful, kind and friendly! A proper hidden gem and a must visit if your in the area!

Went here with my girl friend for dinner and we both liked it. The place is cute and cozy, and the lady there was very friendly. We got the set menu - it comes with a pizza, small drink, and a pistachio affogato. I had the Burrata and Crudo pizza, and my friend got their special with pesto and mushrooms. The pizza crust was light and crispy. Service was a bit slow, but it didn’t bother us much. It was pretty quiet on a weekday. Might come back on a weekend to try more pizza and catch their live music!

Simply the best Italian I’ve had. The lunch special was quite affordable and the quality is top notch. They used fresh ingredients. Pasta and risotto we had were cooked just about right. I would recommend getting the dessert as well. It was a perfect meal.

Just had takeaway from here, both their vegetarian pizzas. Both excellent, tomato sauce packed with flavour and superb crust - and this was their takeaway. I will definitely be coming back for an actual sit-down meal. Well done and I hope to see you soon!

Lovely pizza. Very tasty quality ingredients. Friendly staff. Cooked fresh to order (30 mins) A bit more expensive than the usual pizza places but you get what you pay for. Will definitely visit again 5⭐️

Super friendly staff! The piccante pizza, though it looked a bit underdone when it arrived, was actually really crispy and delicious and really charry underneath. We also had the chef’s special monkfish pasta. The amount of monkfish was generous and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The only criticism we had was that perhaps the lemon zest wasn’t needed given the acidity of the tomato-based sauce. The beer selection wasn’t the greatest but it’s probably more of a wine place, which isn’t my area of expertise.

I’m not the stereotypical Italian enthusiastic Pizza eater. I’m a pizza lover, addicted to it: my flesh is made of dough, in my veins runs tomato sauce and my heart is made of mozzarella that literally melts whenever it comes to eat a pizza here. If you’re sick of chewy doughs, burnt bottoms, dry toppings, unseasoned, tasteless, indigestible pizzas, well you need to come and try what Enrica and Barbara have to offer: pizzas cooked to perfection, a fragrant crispy dough, top quality ingredients and a sauciness that is second to none. Not to forget the always positive vibe and the exceptional kindness. Tonight I couldn’t resist and I had to repeat… So good! One of the best pizzas I have EVER had. Five big, saucy, well deserved stars!
