βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Outstanding Italian Dining β A Real Gem in the area Michaelago is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants Iβve eaten at. The quality of the food is outstanding β I had three courses and every dish was absolutely superb. Regardless of the area itβs located in, this place delivers true restaurant-quality Italian cooking with real attention to detail. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, brilliant flavours, and friendly service that makes you feel genuinely looked after. A proper hidden gem and miles better than most βbig cityβ Italians. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, high-quality Italian food.

This restaurant is a true gem in the area. We found them by chance and gave them a try tonight(Thursday 20th November 2025). To say it exceeded expectations is putting it lightly. You usually dont find Italian food of this quality outside of big cities. Everything we had was a 10 out of 10. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is amazing. Possibly the best restaurant we've been to in the whole of the West Midlands. Already planning our next visit!

Was very much looking forward to eating here as reviews were really good. However, majorly disappointed and won't return. Worst Italian food we have ever had. I ordered a garlic pizza bread which was overcooked and the cheese was dry, then had a carbonara that was stodgy and pasta was dry, my husband had the veal which was dry and overcooked too. Only thing good about this place was the cocktails and even they weren't great. I didn't even eat half of my food and it cost us 120 quid. Don't bother wasting your money.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last month. It is amazing. Service is second to none. Even though its always very busy, including birthday parties, the food quality is perfect and so is the service. The drink service is very efficient too. Even if you want a drink/cocktail not on the menu they still do it for you.

All about the food Ten of us had simple meal one dish and a beer Wonderful food best cheese ever tasted in a lasagna and pizza heavy filling flavoursome just right Except for no sides included all extra which thought was a bit cheeky Salad chips everything all extra cost nothing on your plate except the dish you ordered No bread on table to start Got some tap water out of them a free sweet at end but that was all. Service a bit rough quick and rushed like we were on conveyor belt and needed us out Very brist arrival and disappearance of the waiters , liked a joke but not really just wanted you to spend more eat up shut up and move on . Not easy atmosphere little tense like time was important to them , no question of quality of food but maybe just rattled cus no starter deserts coffee or second pint from anyone, but I thought customer was god , but he isnβt here ,he is second class

Had a lovely Valentine's Night there. Took my wife for a romantic meal. It was our first visit but won't be the last. Lovely food served by lovely friendly staff. The menu was set for the occasion and a few couples left because of the choice ( we think). Maybe a Soup on the starter menu,a Spag Bol on the mains and I think a lot more people would have stayed around..it's just a thought. We will definitely come back again though.

Beautiful looking Italian restaurant which would be better located in Birmingham city centre as it is very similar to Gino De Campo's The service is excellent. The menu extensive. The quality superb It was our first time here and we were celebrating a family birthday and everyone including the kids Would definitely return again
