I've just hadPossibly the worst pizza I've ever had from any place that delivers a pizza,base was horrible,toppings lacked any flavour. Was a soggy horrible mess. Won't order ever again from here
Ordered my pizza at 8:35 pm, went through the tracker and it said enjoy. My pizza hadn't arrived, so I called the store and they said, "our driver is close to your house" I said, "okay, that's fine." 10 minutes later, still no pizza, so I called again and they said, "our driver called you and knocked at the door and got got no answer, so he came back to the store." I said, "I have no missed calls and I have a ring doorbell, trust me, nobody knocked at the door!" They said, "okay, we will redeliver in 15/20 minutes!" It's now 9:20 pm and I still don't have my pizza! My pizza finally arrived at 10 pm! No apology or anything!
Out of 4 XXL pizzas, 2 were so dry and badly burnt such that myself and my guests could not finish eating them. The store were not helpful when we called them about it and went to collect replacement pizzas. The person in store was rude and hostile when we collected the replacement pizzas and not apologetic in the slightest. Not sure how he thought it would be acceptable to serve such pizzas to paying customers in the first place. Very poor experience, would not recommend.
I've always ordered via online or the app and never had a problem. We had 2 large Pizzas and 2 sides and now feeling stuffed. I see there have been negative reviews here, but from my perspective I've never had a problem in over 12 years!
I phoned up to ask if instead of the garlic dip could I have bbq... I was promised that would be fine. I think this must have offended the person in charge as I was sent "cheesy bacon tots" with no bacon at all and burnt cheese. The pizza also had the garlic dip I had asked to be swapped with bbq. They then also put much less bbq than normal, leaving most of the pizza without my beloved BBQ. Usually it is in a swirl this time it was blobs on a few slices... It was very odd clearly me asking for the dip to be swapped must have upset them. such a shame as I usually really enjoy papa John's and haven't had an issue from here before. If it was such an issue why not just explain the problem? I know these are minor issues but if you charge the prices you do then you expect better service and quality.
Very good service and tasty food. Staff is also very friendly and supportive. Keep on guys.
Buy yourself some cheese, grate it on some bread and place it under a grill. Then you will get something hot for a fraction of the price.
Went in shop at Bellegrove Rd and ordered 12 different pizzas to arrive at 1pm on 1st May 2022 at my home address. Whilst communication in store was somewhat difficult and did not provide me with any confidence that things would run smoothly on the day, I was proved wrong. The pizzas arrived and were exactly as ordered, they were hot and arrived dead on time. Well done Papa John's...Will definitely be back.
Had pizza from here takeaway but didn’t like the customer service they seem to be ok the phone always making calls taking orders but what about the customers in store? Waited about 5mins plus to pick up order that they said was ready… unbelievable not coming back
Luckily I moved house and within the zone for Sidcup branch now. Welling was terrible to order from. The worst case I had was regarding the picture I have attached. First, they brought diet pepsi AGAIN. Regular occurrence when you order normal, they bring diet instead. Second - where's the cheese and toppings? Third - when I phone to complain, the manager was EXTREMELY rude. He told me repeatedly that I was lying (he explicitly said it too), and he had personally seen this pizza be made and it "looked perfect, just like adverts". He told me if he were to send a replacement pizza, if I had even eaten one slice of this one he wouldn't give me the replacement. He also demanded that I hand back the bad pizza. He made me text him a picture of the bad pizza to his phone before he would process the replacement. He then claimed that the system wasn't working, and he couldn't process the replacement. Waited 20 minutes for that to be done. Then waited another 45 minutes for the replacement to be sent.
