On the evening of October 23rd I was in Knottingley at Morrinsons I wanted to buy a product that had no price. It was 7:45 pm and there was only one checkout. I was refused with the price check and with arrogance I was sent to take the product where I take it because I should not leave it at the checkout because the cashier could not scan it. . I was not helped to buy the product and as a customer we were spoken to rudely.

I popped in one evening last week for a bit of shopping. I had to use the self service checkout as no till were manned, as usual. Because I always pay with cash, I had to ask for the assistants help to identify the correct till. The assistant was busy cleaning and pretended not to hear, after calling again and again (almost shouting by now) she gave me a furious stare for about ten to fifteen seconds, then reluctantly came over. I asked which tills took cash and she grabbed my trolley and took it to the nearest one and immediately started swiping the items through herself. I explained that I didn`t need any help, but she insisted, saying in her difficult to understand eastern European accent that she would be quicker than me. So with her hands still filthy from cleaning, carried on swiping my items no quicker than I could have done so myself, until my basket was empty. I`ve read previous reviews of the store in which people complain about the rudeness of staff, it appears little has changed. My advice to anyone shopping late in the evening, don`t ask the large Eastern European lady patrolling the self service area for any help, look elsewhere for help.

Appalling customer service – discriminatory and humiliating experience at Morrisons Knottingley I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated at the Morrisons store in Knottingley. A particular cashier, who has already behaved rudely towards me in the past, once again singled me out while I was purchasing two bottles of rosé. Despite showing valid ID (as I’ve done before at the same store), she loudly claimed my proof of age wasn’t acceptable – trying to humiliate me in front of other customers. Her tone was condescending, accusatory, and completely unprofessional. To make things worse, one of her own colleagues even admitted that I am a regular customer and that this kind of behaviour has happened before. It felt like targeted harassment, and frankly, racist. This is unacceptable. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed or judged because of who they are. Until Morrisons takes real action against this kind of conduct, I will no longer be shopping at the Knottingley location. You have lost a loyal customer.

Went quite late on Sunday, I was still able to get everything I needed. Fresh and frozen. And even with the roadworks, I didn't have much of a delay getting in or out .

No tills open at 7.45pm and store was so dark I thought it was closing time. I was informed by two female staff members it was self serve only. I left leaving my trolley of goods. The time was 7.50pm when I spoke to the security man on the door as I left who was having chips thrown at him by some antisocial teenage yobs. This was Thursday night the 16th of February. I then went to lidl a few metres walk. All the lights were on in the store and the tills were staffed by actual people. There was also queues at both tills. What's happened to Morrisons ???

Work in the area so have been visiting since this Morrisons was 1st built. Used to be very good but has gone downhill noticably in the last couple of years. I always sang the praises of the bakery at this particular location, but not anymore. Calling in on the way to work just after 8.00, you will quite often find a sparce offering of 'freshly baked pastries' that are quite obviously yesterdays. Restocking of shelves also seems to be sporadic. Overall, just not very good and getting worse.

Seriously when it says salad bar I was hoping for salad, there was lettace and small tomatoes. The rest was pasta pretty much. Why not call it a pasta bar. I went for some chicken instead and there was no wedges or chips. This place is going down hill quickly
