If you’re looking for quality, homemade-style food, this place is for you. The chef’s love and passion for cooking can be tasted in the dishes served - definitely worth the wait. We had the katsu curry, sushi roll, tempura and sashimis. Super satisfied with reasonable pricing. Highly recommend to give this place a try! (P.s. The food takes time because it is all freshly prepared and made to order. In this instant, fast-paced society we live in, it’s a refreshing change and something I’ve learned to appreciate)

Took ages to get the food. The vegetable curry was tasty but the avocado and cucumber maki were actually warm and misshaped.

Chef’s passion for cooking truly shines through in every dish she creates! It’s inspiring to see how much love and dedication she pours into her craft, turning simple ingredients into something truly special. Every meal feels like a celebration of flavor, creativity, and heart! The seasonal special bento is a true masterpiece that reflects chef’s heart and dedication in every detail! Each visit is filled with excitement and anticipation, and I’ve waited for this bento for what feels like forever! it’s always worth it. It never disappoints! I keep coming back not only for this, but also for your unforgettable signature curry. Thank you for sharing your talent and passion with us especially your culinary journey!!!!

Great Sushi restaurant in the centre of Watford amongst other small restaurants within Watford Market. The market looks purpose built using repurposed shipping containers. The decoration is simple but it is clean and brightly lit. We visited on a Saturday just after the festive period. As this is a small restaurant with about 10 tables we arrived at the stated opening time only to be told after 10 minute wait that they will be open at 11:30. We wondered around town and came back at 11:30. There were plenty of staff doing preparations, they noticed us but avoided direct eye contact. It was a cold day and we were just standing outside. More customers started arriving as we all waited patiently. It finally opened at 12:08. The owner did apologise for the long long wait. It would have helped if they told us at the outset they will not be ready until noon or allow us to come and wait inside rather than outside in the cold. Anyway, the food was really nice, the staff were friendly and the price reasonable. Everything was freshly prepared and was good quality. We would visit again but may call before hand to confirm opening time,

Love this restaurant! Good food and reasonable price. Service a bit slow but that's fine as we were in no rush! Recommended and will definitely come back!

Amazing sushi. The best I've had in the UK. Tbf I haven't had huge amounts but from my limited experience it was amazing. Get there early because when they sell out, they close. Will defo be going again.

Got to the restaurant before closing time and were met with a queue, by the time we got to the front of the queue - we were told they weren’t taking any more customers, which was frustrating. We picked up a takeaway platter, which was well priced (£25) and quality of the sushi was really good for the price. Would definitely revisit to try the full menu!

I want to give this place a bad review so the queue gets shorter and I can get back in easier! It might not look like much from the outside but there's a reason why this place is packed from the moment it opens. Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff and unbelievable value for money. Every single dish we ordered (sashimi, sushi, tempura, miso) was full of flavour and freshly prepared. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Simply the best Japanese food I ever had in my life. Call it a Sushi place it's diminishing, and their hot dishes are amazing. Katzu Curry, Noodles and Teriyaki chicken are my favourites. If you really want to find something that isn't perfect, you could say that the place it's little and not comfortable, but this doesn't impact on final judgement. This is a five star, and now that I leave far from Watford I actually miss this place. Prices way lower than quality offered.
