This was the first and last time I order from this place. I have ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Sweet Chilli Chicken. While the sauces tasted very well, the chicken meat was so hard I couldn't fully chew. Swallowed most if it half-chewed.

Decent shopping selling ready made items. Nothing is really fresh and it's made of white but cooked on site. But decent place. Staff were talking in the own language with can be uneasy as yu don't know if they are talking about you.

The chicken katsu curry with rice was delicious—crispy and tender, with a good portion size. Prices are super affordable, and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty, budget-friendly meal. It's my go-to spot for quick meals.

This is such a wonderful little food place, but the staff here don't make it feel like another chain restaurant, they are friendly and charming to customers and work like a well oiled machine to get people served and keep the food topped up. The food is always fantastic, tasty and fresh and it's my favourite place to get food from in Guildford.

Kokoro has always been my go to takeaway place and I do not know what happened but their food has gone way too sweet. Their beef and chicken is literally biting into sugar. Its just an imitated Asian food for the western. They used to be a good for their low price and ready made food catered in front of you and ready made sushi in the fridge so it was also time efficient. But since their increase in price and reduced portion sizes it has lost its value compared to other new restaurants and takeaway shops near by. 10 minutes wait and with paying a little more can get you a bigger portion freshly cooked for your order and better flavour at Hanki with a lot more Korean food options which is just upper side of the high street for example. And better sushi takeaway from Sushi Nara although there is a bit of a price difference. I guess people have different preferences in their food such as faster and cheaper food or fresh and better food, so Kokoro still do work but now I feel they are falling behind the trend as the standards of people are starting to notice nowadays.

Really popular place, great place to get quick food. Prices have gone up but they still give you a good portion even in the regular size

Always fantastic food here. Generous portions, reasonable prices and friendly, quick service. The sushi I’ve had has always been fresh and tasty. The hot menu is varied with something to suit all tastes. They use chicken thigh rather than breast meat which I prefer due to the better taste and texture- I find it a lot juicier and not dry at all (although if you don’t like dark meat, it may not be for you). We’re very lucky to have 2 branches of Kokoro in Guildford and I will definitely remain a faithful customer!

Good price for the food and portion. However spicy pork has a strong taste of ‘pork’ which is too much for me. Not sure if the meat is good quality. Spicy tofu is good tho.
