From five stars to one within a year. I was served by Charlotte at the front desk and experienced a distinctly poor attitude. She rolled her eyes and gave the clear impression that I was wasting her time while she was at work. She may have been due for a break or having a bad day, but the behaviour displayed was simply lacking decorum. This boorish conduct should be addressed immediately. Bad days are understandable, but in a customer-facing role such behaviour is unacceptable. If providing courteous service is not possible, a role in a different field may be more appropriate.

I had a very stressful day hospital visiting, went to do a big shop in Morrisons near Bridgegate one, back of the Drs, met an angel called Sam, a beautiful sole who helped me when I had a senior moment and put my PIN number in the wrong way, card was blocked, she patiently assisted me and I bought goods at the smaller self service with the help from another lady, had some change got essentials. I went to the ATM machine and put my card in it said unblock pin, I then went back to the store and luckily Sam was still there with the shed load of groceries over Β£100, she helped again I also observed her make polite interactions with an older regular gentleman who was struggling. To make matters better I then met Roy the car park attendant who asked where I was pushing my trolley to as some people donβt return, him seeing how muchI had he helped me carry it to the flat, safely More Reasons to shop at Morrisons Retford Sam and Roy you made my day! Xx

A nice store. Plenty of car parking. ATM here. Lots of trollies & baskets for shoppers. A cafe for hungry moments. Lots of produce & choice, with nice sections, such as Bakery, Fresh Fish, Pizza & others. Lots of tills including self serve.

Although I am generally happy with this store I have just, for the second time, cooked some of the worst chicken I have ever run across. It was described as diced breast, and looked ok, but aven after adequate cooking several of the chunks remained so hard that I was literally crunching my way through them until I threw the rest in the bin. Don't know how it's possible to produce chicken that bad.

This is by far the nicest Morrisons I have been in. Clean, well stocked, good space in the aisles. Pleasant and welcoming staff. The cafe is the best one I have been in, clean, well presented and Charlie who served me was an absolute delight. She explained the menu and was constantly smiling and on top of the cleaning, serving and keeping customers happy. The atmosphere in this store is light and airy. It was busy however I didnβt feel rushed or claustrophobic as I have done in many other supermarkets. Food ordered was a breakfast which was very enjoyable together with a latte. Will definitely go back there again, even though I have a Morrisons nearer to me, it is not as good.

Went to cafe (Retford) Wed 8th Feb, lovely, hard working, very personable young lady serving, but 40min wait although not busy, I had a mega breakfast missing fried bread, wife had full VEGAN breakfast that came with toast in a jug already buttered with 2 pats of 62% MILK BUTTER in the bottom so Vegans stay away and in fact if I was any allergy sufferer I would give it a wide berth! All finished then my fried bread arrived so I ate fried bread on its own as I had paid for it (hope my doctor doesnβt read this!) Used to pour your own hot drinks here but itβs now a hot drink serving area so the lovely, already hard working staff must now do the drinks and deliver them to the table which is such a backward step, perhaps thatβs to force people to use the new βcoffee shopβ they have at the entrance? Morrisons food used to be seriously legendary, the gold standard for cafe food, so sad to see this decline as itβs not only this store.

Hardly any cashier staffed tills open, forcing customers to use self scanned (which many hate). Supposedly convenient it isn't and their prices are very high compared to Lidl and Aldi. I won't be using them again unless I have to.

Rubbish now. About 20 self service tills and twice, no staff appearing for ages for overides/ help. How will they cope at xmas when most trolleys have booze and no space to pack shopping? Deserve to go under for cutting jobs instead of providing a good service. Disgusted

Absolutely awful, on a busy Thursday teatime during school summer holidays and only 2 tills on?! The queues were massive, nobody seemed bothered to jump on a till to help get the queue down, just left everybody waiting, obviously poor management plus the staff seemed most interested in having a natter than getting everybody served and out of there. Gave up and went elsewhere, I've been shopping there for over 10 years but I think it's time to change supermarket. Don't even get me started on the price rises! Maybe they need to employ more staff instead of pocketing the extra money they're getting.
