Suzanne took my mother to the self service trolley tills , scanned her shop, packed her bags, wheeled the trolley to her car , loaded the car , returned the trolley and gave her back the trolley token ! “What a fabulous little place !! We only stopped for a quick drink, late afternoon, so can't comment on evenings here, but we loved the place. Great selection of real ales, which apparently changes on a regular basis. Just sandwiches/light bites for food. Great decor. Friendly bar chap. “We stayed the one night in their Farrier room. Total luxury, friendliness and professionalism from check in to check out. The room was stunning, well thought out and had quality items for us to use. The menu does look extensive and it took a while to choose something but what we ended up with couldn't be faulted, absolutely delicious. The owners are super friendly and unpretentious and their hands on approach topped off a lovely stay, we shall return.”
