“Together with my wife we visited the café earlier today. We called ahead regarding dog friendly seating and helpful staff assured us there was outdoor dog friendly seats. We sat in the morning sun and enjoyed a fantastic full English breakfast and drinks. Great quality and value. Fantastic customer service. This will be somewhere we visit each time we pass through Sheffield for work from now on. Very excited to try one of the vast array of delicious looking cakes next time!”

“A very positive experience. Responded very quickly to initial enquiry, communicated well regarding confirmation of booking and again on day of travel. Arrived on time for both pick up and return journey. Minibus very clean and comfortable and our driver, Conrad was friendly, helpful, polite and courteous. “Absolutely fantastic spot to have some brunch in Buxton, right on the high street. The food was outstanding and served quickly. I had a vegan samosa chaat which was delicious and they had a range of vegan/ gluten free foods. All very affordable with a decent portion size. Beautiful Indian street food done well. It was also busy, on a Monday, which tells me it’s a popular local spot. Tables were full and reserved. I’d highly recommend this if you’re visiting Buxton.”

“We contacted Clare at Cafe77 to enquire availability for our event taking place at The Postmill, South Normanton on a Sunday, even though they are usually closed they kindly offered to open and deliver our buffet to us, the buffet was fab! Everybody enjoyed it! Clare was able to cater for 3 x vegetarians and 2 x vegans on separate platters which worked well, thank you again Clare!”

“Regular visitor to Hay Barn and as always the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. All food freshly cooked and served was delicious. During busy periods might be a wait for a table but the pager system works well. The special event evenings are always worth attending. Employees are always welcoming even when the place is extremely busy.”

“First time visiting this establishment, whilst on the higher side cost wise, the food was faultless. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, the staff were pleasant and attentive, so much so we went back for lunch the next day. The "wedge" is an interesting answer to the question "How do you sell people 1/8th of an iceberg lettuce" , and to be honest, it's genius. The onion loaf was, fantastic, and the vegetable medly certainly played exactly the right tune on the taste buds. If up this way again, this will be the first choice.”

“Very nice food and friendly staff. No set breakfast as such, choose the items you would like. I had 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 fried bread (naughty but very nice) and tined tomatos. Lots more to choose from as well. Wife had vegetarian that looked and was fab. Nice coffee. Highly recommended.”

“We stopped here for breatfast on our journey to go biking at sherwood forest. The breakfast was really nice, freshly cooked and a amazing cheap price. We bought some homemade cakes and the kids got to pick some 1p sweets for later in the day. The owners are lovely, they are a village shop/cafe so call in and give them your trade, it was only 6 miles away from the sherwood forest. As they are small they don't have a toliet.”
