“It was our first visit to Sophias the welcome was very friendly attentive and best of all dog friendly. The food was tasty well presented and a nice fresh coffee . “First time here, and what a place, the welcome was fantastic. Small menu but all fresh and homemade. Empanadas to start, which were amazing, the dipping sauce simple but so tasty and goes so well with the cheese empanadas. Main course was a breakfast, which was black beans, scrambled egg with tomatoes, pulled beef, cheese sticks & a mini arepa. My wife had a pulled beef arepa with cheese, black beans, and plantains, which was so tasty and so out of here normal, but she ate it all and loved it. Dessert was tres leche cake, homemade, and a great sweet hit to finish off what was an amazing lunch. Fresh food and service at its best! We will be back again - thank you”

“Absolutely wonderful experience! We happened across this gem by accident and are so glad we did!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It's like walking into someone's front room ❤️ The selection of Lego on display to play with is perfectly chosen. Small enough to complete in a short time but complicated enough to keep interest in little people. It's a shame were so far away otherwise I have a feeling my 6 year old would visit daily! Oh, and the coffees and cakes were delicious! Thank you so much for having us, we hope to be back soon x”

“We popped in last week in search of egg coffee (ca phe trung) unfortunately this is possibly the only coffee they don't serve. However this place is stunning, service is amazing, food is hot and cooked perfectly, the coffee range they have is diverse and most importantly the milkshakes are toddler approved! Must say this is the best place for coffee in stoke on trent”

“One of the best breakfast's in a long while! Would happily recommend to anyone wanting a good bite to eat whilst in Whitchurch. From the outside it seems quite unassuming, but when you get in there, you're greeted by very welcoming staff and they're always on hand if you need anything. Food was fresh, served quickly and was more than filling. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Visited the Windmill Cafe & Bistro and found a part of Portugal in Newcastle Under Lyme. The traditional cuisine is delicious. Lots of choice from gorgeous fish and meat dishes to a variety of just wonderful tapas bites, soup and loaves of freshly cooked traditional breads. Lovely atmosphere for relaxed eating. Owners genuine foodies and friendly.”

“Went here when our hotel failed to provide breakfast we paid for. This place is a small cafe. They don't serve pork, but our breakfasts were lovely. Made quickly by the guy running the shop, was incredibly lovely and helpful. I had a crepe, my friend had the 'Morning Call', which she thoroughly enjoyed. Teas and coffees were good. Food cooked well and quickly. Would go again.”
