“A great family run business. We have been many times and again another fabulous meal at Amore. Food - hot, tasty, good portion sizes and good selection to choose from. Nice buzzing atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone.”

“Great food at lunchtime, with full flavour.”
“Tom was really lovely, friendly and attentive - always kept checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Food was pretty good, not much cheese on the garlic bread but not fuming about it or anything & pasta was lovely.”
“What a brilliant hidden gem with a fantastic menu and lovely team. It was quiet when we went but booking is advised as it gets busy especially in the summer with the canal boats. Will be back again”
“We've eaten twice at ASK in the last couple of months. On each occasion the food has been outstanding. There is a lovely chilled atmosphere but the service has been fast, efficient and charming. Cheruannah is a star! We will definitely be back soon. Great value overall”
“Had 2 course lunch special good value and very tasty, staff very pleasant.”
“Lovely little Italian. We really enjoyed our date night here. Food was beautiful and nice choice of wine too. If you want to eat in I recommend booking as they don’t have many tables.”
“Food was not 5 star, though for me and my family it was exactly what the doctor ordered: generous portions, good tasting fare and, ....the price was very reasonable. Most of all, the chef and his daughter were so friendly, that we had a good natter with them were he explained some of the acts and singers performing there at times. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Btw, a bottle of wine was included within the total price of £48.- feeding 4 of us! Thank You, Chef”
“Looking for a pre show meal? You could do no better than eat here. The service was polite, attentive but never intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was incredible. Cooked fresh to order and beautifully presented. Loved the theatre too of being able to see the pizza oven in action. Probably the best dining experience we have enjoyed for a long time.”
“Amazing food. A great combination of authentic ingredients to make perfect dishes. We had super nice starters, specially the Pate di fegatini di pollo, absolutely delicious. Kind staff and good atmosphere, may be the best Italian in town.”
“Always enjoy eating here. We went for the buffet so food is always fresh. We got there at 12 as it opened so we didnt have to wait and it wasnt too busy at that time. Food areas were clean and staff were friendly.”
“Wish I could give more stars, This place is the best. The pizzas are by far the best I've ever Had! The staff go above and beyond and deliveries are fast , food arrives hot and the food is amazing. I LOVE THIS PLACE.The boss goes out of his way for every customer.”
“Excellent communication, service and food. Stayed around until they were sure there was no issues! Made the catering easy for my birthday party! Thanks!”
“Visiting Whitchurch for the first time we tried to book in advance but was fully booked. On the evening we arrived we were called and advised that they’d had a cancellation and could fit us in . What a treat , fabulous food, wine and service , highly recommended, but to be sure, book well in advance!”
“Wonderful afternoon with friends sharing meze plates. Every single one was delicious. Belly pork, gigantic, beef skewers, chicken suvilaki, meat balls, feta chips wonderful greek wine, Burgundy style. Fantastic, we will return.”
“On arrival the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. On a Friday and Saturday its a tasting menu. Each course was absolutely delicious. The quantity of everything served was high. A real taste sensation The basil icecream was a beautiful surprise. All areas were spotlessly clean. Service was spot on. Highly recommended restaurant.”
“Food was lovely and well seasoned. Variety of dishes from various cultures which was a fun fusion. Was hard to choose with so many fantastic sounding dishes. Service was top notch from Ata. Me and my boyfriend had a great evening. Would recommend to a friend.”
“They have such a great variety. We ordered several different ones to try them all. The owner was great dealing with the crowd that he had, plus to-go orders”
“my boyfriend and i went here for lunch today, and it was an amazing experience! we are not from the area, but were traveling through and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat, and it did not disappoint! we ordered the hawaiian pizza and garlic cheesy bread, but would recommend any pizzas, very tasty! the service was wonderful, all staff was so kind and helpful! please make sure to stop here if you’re in the area, it’s worth it!”
“Just WOW! Recently moved to the area & after seeing the reviews for this place we had to try & it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely stunning, as well as the service. Alberto was so lovely & our lovely waitress Issy was great! This will definitely be a regular of ours!”
“First time at Primo but came well recommended. Lovely intimate setting & the food was some of the best Italian dishes I’ve tasted in awhile. Starters of tiger prawns on sourdough & mains of chicken in a cheese sauce salmon & pork belly with black pudding were fantastic. Philippa waited on us brilliantly & Complimenrs to the chef who I believe was Darren. Top notch.”
“Updated review. Glad to see that the same high quality has been transferred to the now relocated restaurant in Cheshire Street. The new larger premises (where the old Town House used to be) are just perfect, with increased capacity and really stunning decor.....even the toilet has received a fantastic makeover. The service is top class, really friendly and attentive and the food is deliciously authentic. Definitely need to book though since is very popular. Bella Italia Market Drayton. What a fantastic little authentic Italian restaurant and a great addition to Market Drayton's culinary offerings, complementing the already excellent nearby Foodshion (oriental) and Pickles (Indian). The fact that it is fairly small, 4 tables of 4 and a table for 6 gives it a really cosy and intimate vibe but with plenty of space between tables to afford privacy. The decor and lighting is quirky and has been really well thought out to provide a great experience for those seeking either a romantic atmosphere or somewhere different for a small celebration with family and friends. The background music was perfect. The menu is an Italian foodies' delight with a great range of beautifully prepared and presented pasta dishes along with a wide selection of meat dishes all at an excellent price. Thankfully not a pizza in sight! We were a party of 5 and shared the house antipasti (a large selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives and bruschetta) followed by various pasta dishes, Tiramisu or coffee all for less than £25 per head! They have a selection of soft drinks including zero alcohol beer, wine and fizz, or you can take your own alcohol. The service was top notch, attentive but not intrusive. This is definitely our new favourite local restaurant and will return very soon.”

“Honest, quality food prepared with passion. Only a few tables at this lovely tapas restaurant. Highly recommended!”
“We have now tried a number of different dishes from “Super Tasty” ... and my word, the food is delicious! Home made every day, a variety of recipes ... with all manner of sandwiches, cakes, breakfasts (before 11AM) and ... most impressively, genuine Italian pastas dishes ... it’s well worth a trip if you are travelling through Fenton!”
“Beautiful authentic Italian pizzas and they even made a vegan one for my mum. All such friendly staff too! We are very lucky to have a shop like this in Tunstall and I hope people support them.”
“The Habitat: Atmosphere and Environmental Fitness The environment of 'La Lanterna' demonstrates a remarkable adaptation for conviviality. The lighting levels were found to be optimal, avoiding both the harsh luminosity that might signal danger and the deep gloom that impedes accurate species identification. The overall ambiance—the combination of visual, auditory, and olfactory stimuli—created an environment of 'Great Atmosphere', which is crucial for the successful ingestion and digestion of resources. The collective murmur of conversation among fellow consumers suggested a high degree of social satisfaction within the population. The décor and spatial arrangement demonstrated an intelligent, calculated use of resources to promote comfort and repose, thus aiding the consumer in focusing maximum energy on the task of consumption. Hypothesis on Atmosphere: A pleasing and supportive environment reduces the consumer's physiological stress, likely enhancing the perceived success and enjoyment of the culinary offering. The Symbionts: Facilitation and Service The indigenous personnel responsible for the delivery and explanation of the specimens—the service staff—displayed a highly evolved degree of efficiency and beneficial interaction. Their performance may be classified as 'Fantastic Service'. Efficiency: The speed and accuracy of resource transfer (the food delivery) exhibited a high level of learned behavior and organizational skill. Adaptability: Requests for minor deviations from the standard specimen preparation were met with flexible and immediate responses, highlighting a key trait of behavioural plasticity essential for pleasing a diverse consumer base. Communication: The interactions were polite and informative, acting as crucial intermediaries between the kitchen's production and the consumer's need for knowledge regarding the specimens. Hypothesis on Service: The facilitating species (staff) exhibits a successful symbiotic relationship with the consumer. Their competent actions maximize the consumer's enjoyment, thereby increasing the likelihood of resource return (patronage), a crucial factor in the establishment's long-term survival and prosperity. Final Synthesis on La Lanterna La Lanterna represents a highly successful ecosystem where excellent culinary specimens (Gnocchi Gorgonzola and Steak Pasta) are presented in an environment of Great Atmosphere and facilitated by Fantastic Service. This convergence of high-quality internal and external factors ensures the enterprise's evolutionary advantage in the competitive landscape of the urban dining habitat. Outstanding.”
