“Wonderful afternoon with friends sharing meze plates. Every single one was delicious. Belly pork, gigantic, beef skewers, chicken suvilaki, meat balls, feta chips wonderful greek wine, Burgundy style. Fantastic, we will return.”

“First time to this eatery, we had a shared platter between myself and the wife and we were not disappointed. For dessert I had the walnut sponge with syrup and vanilla ice-cream, and my wife had the orange sponge with syrup and vanilla ice-cream, with deserts were excellent. We will be calling again very soon.”

“I had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Tree Restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. What made the evening even more special was the lovely surprise at the end – a complimentary dessert on the house! It was the perfect sweet touch to round off a perfect meal. I can’t recommend Olive Tree enough – whether it’s a casual meal or a special occasion, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back!”

“my boyfriend and i went here for lunch today, and it was an amazing experience! we are not from the area, but were traveling through and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat, and it did not disappoint! we ordered the hawaiian pizza and garlic cheesy bread, but would recommend any pizzas, very tasty! the service was wonderful, all staff was so kind and helpful! please make sure to stop here if you’re in the area, it’s worth it!”

“I visited Feast at 10am on a Monday morning with my daughter. The cafe felt clean, fresh and bright. The atmosphere was lovely with music quietly playing, local newspapers available to borrow and staff attentive but not overbearing. It felt like the kind of place I could’ve spent a while enjoying my delicious and hot coffee and cherry sourdough toast without feeling uncomfortable at all. We will definitely return!”

“Visited the Windmill Cafe & Bistro and found a part of Portugal in Newcastle Under Lyme. The traditional cuisine is delicious. Lots of choice from gorgeous fish and meat dishes to a variety of just wonderful tapas bites, soup and loaves of freshly cooked traditional breads. Lovely atmosphere for relaxed eating. Owners genuine foodies and friendly.”

“Really great plant-based food. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner has decided to start serving non-vegan items. This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home. I will leave my rating as is, because the food was good, and so was the service, but I would never go back due to his reaction to responses on social media - and then his ridiculous commentary in the tabloid press.”

“Ordered a cake for a 60th birthday and just wow! Very simple and easy to order over the phone and collect (or have delivered). Cake looked and tasted amazing. Outstanding place and staff, will definitely be back for a milkshake or two. Thank you so much!!”

“Decided to book in for a Sunday lunch after reading some other reviews. Really happy that we did as we were served a great Sunday lunch. We all had starters, myself going for the mussels which didn't disappoint and were well presented and very tasty coupled with a nice portion size as were the other starters. We all went for the giant Yorkshire pudding which contains all other elements of this amazing lunch, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, roast and mashed potato and stuffing. The veg was cooked perfectly for us, still having that little bit of bite, nothing was overcooked and it was all piping hot and tasty. By far one of the nicest Sunday lunches that you would possibly compare to one of your own, but without the effort of cooking it yourself. We will be back for this again and to try out some of the other items on the menu.”

“Stopped in here after a trip to the local Blaze farm with our toddler. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the place was very modern and clean. The food menu was very good with lots of choice. I had a steak and red wine pie and it was delicious, my wife had a fish and chips without fault and our son had a burger and chips. They gave him the option for beans or peas and as he couldn’t decide gave him both at no extra charge which was a nice touch. Not expensive for the quality, service and setting. Highly recommend if you are in the area.”

“A little piece of Greece in Shrewsbury. AMAZING food & vibes. Love the little blackboard menus as the food is made fresh. & always as specials. It was fun chatting to other people dining about what they had & we had or were going for as we all had different boards dotted around. We will definitely be back. (Parking on road or opposite) I had the chicken gyros & my partner had the beef which was like a stew. I’m already craving another it was so good! We will pop out for takeaway one Wednesday evening for sure. I’m yet to try the lush looking baklava! It looks like it would be a gorgeous place to visit one summer evening too in the garden.”

“I love it here! I have never been disappointed. We went this evening for my birthday celebration and my daughters. No apparent kids menu but chef made her exactly what she wanted and she ate it all. Our food also 10/10. Honestly so delicious! Great food variety on my plate tasty and healthy. Clean table knives and forks glasses sparkling. Waitress was kind and friendly and made so much effort not OTT but attentive and smiley and knew her stuff. Wine recommendation lovely. Yorkshire puddings worth every syn on slimming world.
