“Amazing quality of food, great menu selection, gorgeous cocktails, and such a lovely atmosphere on every visit!”
“I have been coming here for years, everything about this restaurant I love. The staff, the atmosphere and food. Was back there Friday as it was my husbands 50th an it was amazing. You dont need to go anywhere else or he entertainment an vibes under 1 roof.”
“We had a wonderful dinner @Ego at the Old Ashfield. And tended to by very friendly and attentive staff, in particular by Jessie. Happy to recommend it for great choice, lovely presentation and super friendly staff.”
“Absolutely beautiful venue and food. A takeaway come diner restaurant style, it was very busy but I can see why. Food smells and tastes amazing. It would be nice to have some Greek background music for all of the senses. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Efharisto!”
“Tucked away in a corner of an industrial area of Nottingham, this is an Alladins cave of Greek and Cypriot food and ingredients. You can order online, there's some parking, but I think that in future we will order via the Internet as getting there is not the easiest! Inside it is really like the aforementioned cave! With an alcove for the drinks. Keo, Keo, I like Keo. Go for it, we're sure you won't be disappointed!”
“Aside from the fact that all the meals I had were delicious the service was really good. The food was served on time and no delay, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Another thing that stood out for me was the steak; I always order a medium rare when having steak because well-done is always too dry. But my partner loves well-done so he had that and the steak was very juicy; it was well-done but I could still taste the juiciness of the meat. I will visit again to try the brunch menu.”
“So good. Been here many times. Lovely place, friendly service, and excellent food. The absolute best thing they offer is the greek dessert. I dont know how to pronouce or spell it and even forgot to take a photo today... it is like a Greek custard pie. Something new today was the shared platter for 2, yummmm.”
“Second time here. Food is tasty, staff are really attentive and friendly. Would recommend to others. Slightly pricier than other Turkish restaurants in the area Ordered the platter, awarded 4* as I think they were a little stingy on the meats.”
“Definitely the best dining experience in Nottingham, hands down. (I visited the Showcase cinema complex branch!) First class food, first class service. Great ambience and music. And out-of-the-world price! I didn’t even realise I came here on opening day, and it’s all decked out, the staff revved up and smiling. Thanks especially to Burak- excellent recommendation and such warm service. Great guy. And thanks to Sedaf too for her friendly service. If you haven’t visited this place, you must. Great tasting genuine Turkish food, good portions. Very clean place,, good vibe, warm service, and it does not tank your budget…. what’s not to love?!! I honestly expected the bill to be ridiculous for what I had, but was pleasantly surprised it was half that!”
“Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and super friendly service. You step in from the A60 and you are transported to the almalfi coast with a great Italian restaurant. We had an excellent meal out for my dads 70th birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much to help him celebrate. The food - wow! The food was just fantastic. Great portion sizes and so delicious. The calzone was just amazing and the profiteroles were just sensational. It was my first time visiting and it won’t be my last. Great place.”
“Great Greek food always fresh and definitely worth it”
“Came here & ate in around the only table with a mate, I had the Greek burger and some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had in my life & he had a huge gyros. Left absolutely stuffed & satisfied; the two ladies working there make a fabulous team and your two bus driver customers were extremely pleased with the service and food. A very welcome addition to Hucknall! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Best bougatsa I've ever eaten outside of Greece itself, although even then it still rivals much of the bougatsa I ate in Thessaloniki. There is also a small but high quality import shop with high quality Greek food stuff and snacks. Will definitely be coming again, possibly to try the moussaka or Gyros. Also, customer service is second to none.”
“Great place for some breakfast, lots of homemade jams and other bits inside. Smoothies looked great as well!”
“This is a brilliant restaurant serving Greek cuisine. The food was excellent served hot, tasted great, the meats were not dry and it was a good portion for the price paid. This was the second time visiting this place, and both times we have been very impressed. We have tried the stuffed mushrooms starter (highly recommended), the mixed grill for two people (again amazing!), the Moussaka and Kleftiko. Honestly highly recommended for anyone looking for somewhere new! Not a negative point, but certinley something which would improve the menu, is about the Mixed Grill for 2 people. It would be better if you offered a mixed grill for 1 person, as there is nothing similar, and limits the options available to customers.”
“Had lunch here today and I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. The guy behind the counter was very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The food is generous and actually quite tasty. We sat on the picnic benches outside as there is not much seating in the place itself but someone very helpfully brought our food out when it was ready. The flatbread was fresh with a great filling ratio and a very reasonable cost! Would happily recommend to my friends and order again.”
“Food is really good, very good portion sizes and free complimentary bread and starters. Staff are professional and accomodating.”

“The food is always incredible. Cooked fresh, seasoned well, good portion sizes and amazing taste and flavour. Not only that, the service is always excellent. 100% recommend.”
“Popped in to have a drink, and had a great time. Staff were lovely and really helpful, drinks were perfect (I had a non-alcoholic beer as I was driving and my wife had a lovely merlot) and the decor was cool. Cracking atmosphere and will definitely be back for the Sunday lunch and live music. Edit: Went back for Sunday dinner and drinks. The food was outstanding, the band very entertaining and the atmosphere reflected that. Thoroughly recommended.”
“Lovely food and great service as always. We’ve been in here lots of times and have never been disappointed. Erhan is very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!”
“What a hidden little gem and so near to home! The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very pleasant, cheerful and informative. As for the food, WOW! The presentation and the food wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin restaurant, it was that good! Will definitely be going back!!”
“Had a wonderful day last week in this place The food is delicious and the staff so friendly”
“It was a fantastic meal I would definitely go again and I was served by an amazing waitress called mar she was fabulous very attentive she did a great job”
“After my fifth visit to this beautiful restaurant I think it was about time I left a review. A stunning restaurant full of passionate and experienced servers and chefs that cook the most exquisite, fresh, flavourful Greek food I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. The faces I make when eating each dish makes my company laugh each time. If you haven’t been…go. You won’t regret it.”
“Delicious kebabs (both meat and vegetarian) with a good quantity of hot roasted vegetables, fresh salad and tasty pita. The lady serving us was very friendly, and it was an excellent meal for the price.”
“One of the best set menu fine dining experiences in Nottingham. It was clear on every course the detail put into the flavours and presentation. The taste was also incredible on every course and very much worth the cost. I also went away feeling decent level of full and the course pacing allowed a good amount of time to make it's a great experience. Staff were also great and attentive to dietary needs. Overall a super experience worth trying.”
“What can I say other than Kalimera is a little oasis of Greek Cypriot delicacies in Nottingham. Mixing British and Mediterranean foods on the same menu is so clever! My son and I had to try the Greek breakfast, so tasty - I recommend it as an alternative to the traditional English breakfast! The Greek sausages are brilliant! Came back the next morning to collect Galaktoboureko sweet desert- specially made so I could take some back to Wales for my Cypriot family! It was delicious! Picked up some Pastitsio and feta/spinach pie. Nottingham is so lucky to have Kalimera on your doorstep! Perfect food and friendly owners!”
