“Absolutely fantastic. The food was AMAZING, service was great. The place is lovely inside and out, we were there for dinner tonight (30th December), only thing wrong with the evening was that the table behind us seemed to have a couple seated who were “influencers” (idiots) who seems to be streaming whilst complaining constantly about everything and each other……. I can only hope they catch me in the background scowling at their effort to ruin our and everyone else’s enjoyment of this excellent restaurant.”

“I have been eating occasionally at Amores for many years, but it was probably about 5 years since my last visit. I had clearly forgotten just HOW GOOD the food is. The menu is great to enable you to construct the dish how you like, choosing your main component (i.e. meat) cooked in a way you like and then selecting appropriate sides, such as pasta, fries, veg etc to suit your mood. The options are all so very tempting! Service is quite speedy, with very helpful and friendly staff making you feel well looked after. The Tiramisu is divine... it was all exceptional but I will be having dirty dreams about that dessert.... If you haven't tried it yet, please do. It's well priced and you will leave feeling so very very happy.”

Ziggy served me and he clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the attention to detail and quality of the food they create. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the crispy bacon and delicious sausages every bite was a true delight. But it wasn't just the food that made this breakfast special - Ziggy's warm and welcoming personality added an extra touch of charm to the experience. They clearly love what they do, and it shows in the way they interact with customers. Overall, I would highly recommend Lounge bar to anyone looking for a top-notch meal and a friendly atmosphere. “Don't let some of the negative reviews put you off visiting this restaurant (no unpleasant smells either). There were 4 of us & we're greeted with a warm welcome. Now to the main event. I had black pearl scallops as a starter & grilled chicken breast in a chasseur sauce for my main, really tasty & well presented. The rest of our group really enjoyed their food as well. It was our first visit & won't be out last. I can honestly say it's we'll worth a visit.”

“Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and super friendly service. You step in from the A60 and you are transported to the almalfi coast with a great Italian restaurant. We had an excellent meal out for my dads 70th birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much to help him celebrate. The food - wow! The food was just fantastic. Great portion sizes and so delicious. The calzone was just amazing and the profiteroles were just sensational. It was my first time visiting and it won’t be my last. Great place.”

“Amazing lasagna, the best I've had outside of Italy. We had la zucca, butternut squash, and la romana that had the best ragu and taste. Made me think of the ragu a la bolognese you get anywhere in Bologna. Good choice of starters and deserts. We had tiramisu. Really fluffy mascarpone on top, really nice and light. I would use more coffee in the recipe though, but really good nonetheless. Like the choice of wine too. Can't wait to come again to try the other lasagna.”
