“Today was my daughters Hen party and we all had a blast. Drinks never stopped food was ace and James who looked after us was so accommodating. He made sure everyone got what they wanted and really looked after the two in our party who were not drinking. It was a great experience and we will deffinitely be back.”

“We visited Poppa Pizza in Nottingham during a family trip from London, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. This place is a true gem – warm, welcoming, and perfect for families. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pizzas were some of the best we’ve had since moving to the UK – crispy base, generous toppings, and that perfect cheese pull! The kids loved it, and so did we. Poppa Pizza has that rare combination of great food, friendly service, and a cozy retro atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Nottingham!”

“Ate here on a Saturday evening. Food and drink were excellent. Food was cooked perfectly and served very promptly, with the main course a good time soon after the starters. Staff were very attentive to the empty plates and when drinks were empty. Atmosphere was nice, with several other tables dining at the same time. The one issue that our party had would be the temperature of the room, it was slightly on the cold side, but that could also be because of the time of year.”

“Absolutely fantastic. The food was AMAZING, service was great. The place is lovely inside and out, we were there for dinner tonight (30th December), only thing wrong with the evening was that the table behind us seemed to have a couple seated who were “influencers” (idiots) who seems to be streaming whilst complaining constantly about everything and each other……. I can only hope they catch me in the background scowling at their effort to ruin our and everyone else’s enjoyment of this excellent restaurant.”

We had the Korean BBQ in the table and it was a great experience, the food was really tasty and just the right portions for us, would highly recommend if you like Korean BBQ. I can see what some people say about the service but I think it is just a laid back place and that's fine, if we needed anything we asked and the staff there were happy to help.”

“I have been eating occasionally at Amores for many years, but it was probably about 5 years since my last visit. I had clearly forgotten just HOW GOOD the food is. The menu is great to enable you to construct the dish how you like, choosing your main component (i.e. meat) cooked in a way you like and then selecting appropriate sides, such as pasta, fries, veg etc to suit your mood. The options are all so very tempting! Service is quite speedy, with very helpful and friendly staff making you feel well looked after. The Tiramisu is divine... it was all exceptional but I will be having dirty dreams about that dessert.... If you haven't tried it yet, please do. It's well priced and you will leave feeling so very very happy.”
