“The food here is super flavorful and tasty. Best Indian food I have had in nottingham. It's got clean flavors, value for money and the host really cares for the food she makes and its evident from the tasty food. I have tried samosa chat, masala chai and aloo paratha. The samosa is perfectly crisp and the potato filling is really good paired with curd and chickpea curry and chutneys. This place is a must try.”

“Visited the restaurant recommended by a friend and it was well worth it. Great atmosphere, tasty food and friendly staff. We ordered 5 dishes and all of them were brilliant! Just an area that they can improve on is the training to the junior staff taking orders. Some info provided to us was not accurate (like set of 2; we ordered 2 and they served 2 x set of 2), but got them in a doggy bag. Over all rating five stars.”

“Starter: cheese and ham board: very nice, all fresh, olives, honey,ham cheses nuts ets delicious Main: Chicken dish very nice , not dry not at all, was just perfect. Lamb kofta very nice not to spice but not bland just right. Fries perfect crispy outside and soft inside. Fresh herbs from their garden nice touch. They also have vegetarian option and the plate was full of delicious food Beer cold, music great :-) Atmosphere: staff kept asking if we need anything. We all felt very welcome. We will definitely come back”

“Here's the short version: great food and great service. Our waiter was really helpful. Given the tapas nature of the restaurant we were unsure about how much to order without overdoing it, and with his help we got it just right. We branched out a bit and tried things we hadn't had before, and it was all fantastic. The tacos and the paneer tapas dishes were a highlight. I also loved the Thali, I had a few favourites (the lamb dish and the lentils one), but everything was great. We also treated ourselves to a cocktail which was delicious, and very reasonably priced as part of their pre-7pm "2 for £12" deal. Honestly I'm ashamed it took us so long to try this place. We certainly won't leave it that long til next time, we're coming back soon!”

“We have been to this restaurant before - now under new ownership it is still a fantastic place to have a meal. The service was impeccable; food delicious and booking easy. We booked online initially then followed it up with a phone call because of our group size. On arrival the manager remembered that we had a food allergy in our group (my son is coeliac) which was so easy since the only non gluten free items on the menu are the naan breads. Currently, (as of March 16th 25) the restaurant doesn’t yet have a licence but you can bring your own for £1 a head corkage or Sainsbury’s is over the road and they’re happy for you to pop across and buy your own alcohol. Food was delicious with an amazing range of popular Indian dishes and a great menu of their own including some speciality dishes including Sri Lankan and vegetarian options. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.”

“The food was so amazing. We ordered dahi Puri bombs, samosa chaat, okra fries, keema pav, lamb chops, railway potatoes, garlic naan. The dahi Puri was a bit rich and sweet, the Puri itself was nice but everything else was super delicious. The food came out quickly and the service was great. We were the only ones in there at the time so it was quiet and cold but the music was nice. The restaurant itself was decorated nicely.aa8”

“Been here a few times now and always have exceptional food and service and last night was no exception! We love the special Tuesday's as its great value for money. Staff very attentive and welcoming and we even got a free baby guinness before we left! Highly recommended and will definitely see you again soon!”

“Absolutely amazing food, full of flavors without the greasy aftertaste. Well worth a visit. To start was the tandori panier and the fish amritsari, genuinely great taste the food was piping hot and didn't taste like it was pre-made. The main course wasn't on the menu as I had asked what the server preferred, but it's his take on the garlic chilli chicken curry, except it was made with lamb and had his unique taste of spices. It was delicious and was complimented with lemon rice. The other main was chicken biryani. And this was definitely made fresh the chicken was perfect. Overall the food was outstanding, but what let's it down unfortunately is the outside entrance doesn't do it any favors, I would highly recommend giving jhakhas a try.”

“At last! A decent curry in Nottinghamshire. I’m from Birmingham so have spent my life enjoying delicious curries. I’ve tried countless curries in Nottingham and not found one that came close to one from the west midlands. We’ve tried 3 curries so far and all have been really fantastic. The naans are also great, along with the rice and other sides. Can’t fault!”

“Can’t express it in words !! It was such a heart warming experience. We had got reference for Anoki and we were so excited to try it out. Being new to England, we went in with low expectations regarding the taste, but wow, it was the complete opposite! We were honestly blown away by how authentic the flavors were, just like back home in India. The food was absolutely amazing. Speaking of the chef, he was incredibly generous. When we mentioned that we were students, he warmly welcomed us with a delicious orange-guava mixed juice that tasted out of this world. Will definitely like to visit again♥️”
